Note: Useful for quickly creating filters for a selection of items without needing to navigate through drop down menus to select individual groups/items.
right click > create filter from selection > filter window > create from selection group/type/exact item.
Suggestion: The Blueprints tab in the Industry window should also show the number of jumps from the selected facility.
Keywords: UI, industry window, range, skills
Notes: You have to switch to the Facilities or Jobs tab to see the range from a given place, which is not ideal.
On a Killmail, if I riht click on the portrait of a killer, I can see their information. If I right click the portrait of the victim, I don’t. This is not intuitive! It messes with muscle memoery. I suggest that right clicking either the name in the killmail or the portratir of the victim in the killmail bring up info about the victim.
Suggestion: Add “Agents” tab to “Show Info” on NPC stations.
Keywords: ui, missions, agents
Pretty simple, it’s all there in the title
All I’d like, if I’m looking at the info for a station, it would be nice to have an additional tab added to the trio there, that would show the list of agents present at that station, in a similar manner to the “Agents” tab in “Show Info” for an NPC corp.
Suggestion: Turn off annoying audio in skill window
Keywords: skills,audio
Note: It gets extremely grating listening to that stupid pointless background noise
After spending quite some time crafting a dread alt skill queue, I realised the extremely annoying noise this window creates was causing me to want to throw my computer out of the window. Why is this the only window in the entire game that makes such an annoying noise?
Suggestion: Add horizontal scroll bar to horizontal-aligned compare tool
Keywords: ui, compare
Note: The compare tool in horizontal view doesn’t have a scroll bar for data that overflows, that forces to either use the filter or enlarge the window, please add a scroll bar
Keywords: ui, compare
Note: If I select more items and then right click→compare, the right click only selects the item under the cursor, and only that item is added to the compare window. This applies to several interfaces.
Players when leaving know the consequences if asset safety is triggered while they are gone. They can trigger it before hand or get the notification that its going into asset safety and fix it
Suggestion: Update the Agency>Missions & Agents>[Selected Agent Type] window to show the actual missions you would receive if you went to each agent.
Keywords: UI, Missions, PVE
Note: While I mildly understand the requirement to visit a station to accept a mission from an agent. To this day I find it quite confusing that you can’t remotely at least… see what the mission being offered is..
Basically let players see what is available to them. Still have to visit the station to accept or reject/reroll missions. But might make players more willing to move around, or perhaps venture into low/nullsec, as they can remotely see the often quite noticeable increase in reward (esp LP) from doing missions in low.
Suggestion: Add Tangential and Radial Velocity readouts to the “Selected Item” window when targeting a ship/drone/etc.
Keywords: UI
Note. While this information is available in the overview, the screen is already typically cluttered too much to get any benefit from it. However duplicating this information in the “Selected Item” window (which has a few areas that are typically blank) could be handy to some people.
Keywords: skinr, ui,
Note: SKINR QoL changes like rename, edit, and delete.
Being able to rename skins after they’ve been made would be fantastic for if we have started sequencing the skin and made a typo in the name for instance, Editing a skin should come with a re-sequencing cost I think, not as much as making the skin itself though, Some of us make lots of skins as our tastes change and as we get better at making skins so it would be fantastic if we could clear out our collections by deleting/hiding skins we have created.
Suggestion: Move Perseverence in ship tree beside Outrider
Keywords: ship tree, UI, Omega
Notes: It was pointed out that even though it was a limited edition ship, Perseverence cannot be flown by an Alpha Pilot. It should be moved in the ship tree between the faction ships and the outrider, but above the Omega icon, so any players looking to find a way to get their hands on that ship, can see that you must be Omega to train into it.
Suggestion: Separate “skill training complete” and “skill points applied to skill” events in notifications
Keywords: ui, skills, notifications
Note: Useful to see just skill training complete notifications
As we get and apply free SP daily, it jams up the notification section but if you hide the events then it also hides completed skill training, which I actually do want to see.
Currently many ships have a clear progression. With haulers, there are just cheap T1 haulers and then skill and ISK-intensive T2 haulers and freighters. Faction haulers could offer a stepping stone for intermediate pilots. The ships could cost 50-100 mil each and feature significantly enhanced hitpoints to deter ganking. They could have around 6k armor and shields, less than transport ships. One ship tier could offer cargo space and hit points, while the second tier offers agility and speed. Cargo space could be slightly increased over tech 1 versions. Pirate versions could offer better stats, or have improved exotic stats such as low signature radius, low mass for wormholes, AB or MWD bonuses, warp speed or cloaked velocity bonus. These ships would add more variety to the hauling profession.
