Suggestion: Please return the ability to get quantities when hovering over a PI product in the colony window.
Again the client used to have a popup when u hovered over the product icons in the PI colony window, including the quantity and volume values. Would be nice to also hover over the Type Icon and get such stats as total mining per cycle, total amt of incoming product and total amt of output product when hovering over their respective icons.
Please put that back in. not everyone uses excel or even spreadsheets for that matter and we manually handle such things. being able to see these values (maybe even limited by survey distance skill) would be VERY Helpful, thank you.
Note: when i hover over these the Cursor does do its little flicker thing - like its sending a command - but nothing shows up. if this is a bug in my client let me know, thank u.
Suggestion: Items in the Multi Sell Window should be highlighted/marked/greyed-out/otherwise indicated in the hangar so that you know what’s being sold and what is not.
Keywords: UI, market, multi sell, item hangar, highlight
Note: I tinkered with prices and amounts and removed one stack of several identical item stacks from the MS window. When I wanted to re-add, it was difficult to find the correct stack.
Suggestion: Add more filtering options to the Agency.
Keywords: Agency
Note: Additional filters would make it easier to find relevant content and reduce unnecessary clutter. For example, players could exclude specific regions such as Exordium or filter for particular Homefront operation types. This would prevent veteran players from being shown activities in Exordium that are no longer worthwhile for them, while also making it easier to locate specific Homefronts, anomalies, or other content without having to scroll through a long list of systems.
Suggestion: Improve the behavior of Cargo Scanner result windows.
Keywords: Cargo Scanner, UI
Note: When using a Cargo Scanner, the result window automatically takes keyboard focus. As a result, hotkeys stop working until the player clicks back into space, and typing in chat can be interrupted unexpectedly.
Additionally, when scanning multiple targets without closing previous scan result windows, each new window opens slightly offset to the right and downward. While this behavior is not an issue by itself, the offset continues to accumulate with every new scan result window, even after all previous windows have been closed. Over time, the window position gradually drifts farther toward the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Suggestion: The Ship Restrictions info in mission windows should tell me straight and right there if my ship can access the mission or not.
Keywords: UI, missions, mission info, agent mission, ship restrictions
Note: I should not have to open the ship restrictions window to see if I can access the mission or not.
Note: As of now the only way to do this is to save the fit under a different name and then delete the original. A ‘Set Name’ option would reduce the steps taken to achieve this.
Keywords: ui, shortcut, tag
Note: There are shortcuts to tag items from sequence (1 through 9, A through I, etc), but there is no easy way to reset these sequences back to start
When I’m tagging targets for my fleet mates it is nice to use the “Tag item from sequence” shortcuts because they allow to quickly establish shooting order. But there is no way to reset the sequence back to start other than cycling through the entire sequence. This is problematic when running PvE sites with multiple waves as it causes me to execute many actions fast to reset tagging sequences before the next wave arrives. The game also doesn’t seem to like this workaround as it occasionally complains about me tagging too fast and then completely disables my ability to tag for several seconds. Therefore having a button or a shortcut to quickly reset tagging sequences to start would be a nice QoL addition to the game.
Suggestion: When every item in a custom overview category is selected, new items created in that category (new ship classes) should also be selected by default.
Keywords: Overview, new ships
Note: Prevent unnecessary overview updates
I mostly notice this when new ships are added (command carriers, expedition command ships, “Special Edition Yacht”). I have all ships on my default overview, but new ship classes default to not selected on all overviews. It’d be a nice QOL feature to prevent players from having to update their overviews every time a new niche ships gets added.
(And yes I only realized I didn’t have command carriers on my overview today. And I have no idea how long ago special edition yachts were added.)
The market ticker displaying a custom folder’s contents as the ticker should ONLY show what is in that folder. Currently it forces you to have PLEX and large/small extractors on it regardless of the folder settings and they appear first.
Suggestion: Add cargo hold size and types beneath Ship bonuses and Role bonuses on the main ship overview page.
Keywords: UI, Ship overview, Hauler, Barges, transport ship, mining, ice mining, new player experience, industry, logistics
Cargo hold size and types really a main feature for many of these ships, but since these ship stats now hidden down on the attributes page, make it a hassle to check and quite challenging for new players to discover this concept
