Sov wands and damage caps are the two worst aspects of sov nul.
There really is nothing more tedious than sitting in a fleet “waiting” for hours while half a dozen ships run around wanding structures.
Oh wait yes there is - Damage caps. Reffing anything takes forever
Then we have Structure spam - Even if you manage to kill all the sov structures, who really wants to spend the next few months having to kill all the structures left behind when you took sov - Damage caps again are the bane of anyone trying to actually contest a region, constellation or even a system. Many times owners don’t even bother turning up to defend sov because they know with all the structure spam they have time to take it back…
Yes the old sov systems were bad - but Fozziesov is the worst.
Increase damage caps on everything - Scrap entosis links and replace them with DPS.
After all that is what damage caps are for, to slow down the loss of "stuff’. At this point in time, if losing stuff slows down anymore it will just stop altogether.

Hi all. I just wanted to make a announcement. I have been EVE clean for 3 weeks now and it’s been great. I see that CCP really wants us to enjoy time with our family and troll the forums. Lets keep blackout going, until this game goes to 0 players, who needs this game anyway

I play eve since March 2008. My main character has over 200m sp without skill injectors. I did everything in the game and won it a long time ago. When I started playing eve was an environment where players decided everything. Now CCP says everywhere how they should behave, and EVE is being increasingly limited.
Eve needs change. Many changes. Above all, however, eve needs to be defined. The environment as it used to be or a simple shooter in space. It cannot be both.
CCP has chosen the path of a simple shootout. People wanting to shoot without risk to the defenseless and calling it pvp are happy about it and insult those who don’t want to be victims. I understand them. In real life, they are victims and want to be on the other side for a while.
However, I have simple question. Do you think that turning EVE into a shootout is good for the game and this community?
I was wondering why people enjoying the blackout won’t go to play Fortnite, but a friend explained it to me. At Fortnite, everyone has equal chances and skills count. Blackout lets anyone pretend to have them.
During the blackout I visited many 0.0 regions. Everywhere quiet and empty (except one region). There are more people in hi sec. If this was the goal of BO then the mission was successful.
My only regret is that there are fewer and fewer opportunities for a real fight in eve with someone who also wants to fight and has the tools to do so
Until CCP returns to basics there is no room for me here.
Today I see it is time to leave. Maybe somewhere is another real sandbox.
I still hope CCP will understand its mistake and start a real repair so you can’t take my assets. When I lose hope I will hand it over to my favorite corporation so you won’t be able to take my assets either.

People who like pvp without risk don’t have to look for targets because they know where they will be. It is not fair that the torturer can easily find the victim. The minimum that should be done is to hide anomalies. Do you want to kill someone PvE? Find him.
Tell the old hunter that you are a hunter because you shoot animals at a waterhole in the desert with a sniper rifle. He will say what I say. You are not.
That is why IMO only loser enjoy BO.
Do you consider yourself a pvp player? Kill someone ready for pvp. But be honest blackouts will not help you find a good opponent. But if you enjoy blackouts, you are not looking for it

I don’t give up The blackout doesn’t apply to me but I’m doing the only thing I can do to show CCP that I don’t like what they do. I stop playing and switch to alpha.
As they admit their mistake and give me hope that they want to start to solve real problems I can come back to the game. Maybe.
Now, thanks to blackouts, I have more time for my family and more time looking for another sandbox
