Yah, that works really well when you get jumped by a cloaky and he drops a pile of bored friends on you.
Iām your huckleberry!
Iām an elite PVPer because I can find some rorqs mining, decloak, launch a bomb and warp off before they hit. Or tackle and kill a proc mining soloā¦
What makes you think I canāt afford to lose my Rorquals?
You presume a lot - Most of it falsely
And youāve made soooo many useful suggestions with your posting - You canāt even remember what youāve said from one reply to the next.
I gave my feedback on things that could be done - In the original thread and over the last few years. As CCP donāt care what we say Iāve given up. If you canāt see how broken the PVP aspect of Eve is, you really are not playing the game.
Of course it is - What sort of FOOL canāt see that blackout and Super proliferation arenāt connected?
You have over and over suggested small groups and individuals need to protect themselves - Which in the current meta is a nice subtle way of saying JOIN GOONS. Or one of the other few Blocs who own Sov NUL.
Ahh yesyour suggestions - Dumb down, use cheaper ships, put 20 or 30 hours a week more into the game to maintain your play style - Sorry but those are the suggestions of someone who no longer plays the game, which from looking at your history, would be you.,.
Fuk I hate self important nobodies who try to tell others how they should do things - Especially when they so obviously have no understanding of the mechanics and donāt interact with them.
You must be Hilmars alt - No-one else could be so arrogant when it comes to what is happening.

WHY EVE OR CCP GAMES NEEDS TO FAIL
It may not seem like it, but to write this article pains me. I want to be completely wrong. Itās like watching a person you know has excellent potential waste it all on drugs and bad decisions even as everyone around them tries to help them.
I canāt disagree with the article but do sincerely agree with the sentiment in the quote.,.
I really hope my feelings and those expressed in the article are so very wrong - Sadly CCP is giving me no reason to think they are.,.
Still here complaining huh?
The goal of an Eve player is to adapt to the environment which is what prompts the content. Adapting will be difficult for you due to the amount of accounts you have, Lower the amount of accounts you have and accept a more team orientated play style.
Youāre not going to get people to come around to your way of thinking because there are so many different perspectives. The guy who owns 1 or 2 accounts can still get some fun from Eve, we all want different things from Eve. You and many other multiple account holders seem to want ultimate glory, it seems Eve is becoming a game where that level of glory is hard to achieve.
The player base needs some time to adapt, I think Eve will end up with the players doing the same thing as they always do with the only difference being they will field less expensive ships and the economy will slow down a bit. I know there are many pvpāers who wonāt pvp unless they get a victory without loss, due to local being gone this is now harder so the logical course of action is to risk less and still have fun.
About the most significant thing youāve said in this whole discussion.
The āgloryā is being focused toward one play style - Join a Bloc or give up your chosen play style, developed over many years - Adapt to biased game changing intervention by CCP - Or STOP PLAYING.,.
NB; Iām in the process of extracting all my alts and selling off assets - Should have enough isk to sub one barely active account for a few years.,.
I simply donāt share your view, I spent around 6 months in a Bloc around 2010/2011. Before and after being in a Bloc I was alone in NPC 0.0 where I developed a great team play style which worked. We were earning ok and enemies found it hard to fight us during our pve ops. We had 4 of us using only T2 frigates. For a long period sneaking around in a hostile environment was more than enough entertainment for us.
Here we go, it looks like you are limiting what you do in Eve. This is a good move. the days of you controlling lots of accounts are coming to an end.
poor ccp they shot themselves in the foot. a large percentage of players are happy with the blackout. an equally large percentage of player are unhappy.
either way the damage is done
Null blackout is pretty cool. But CCP should do some kind of automated direct scan mode (every 5 sec for example) I think.
P.S. my V button already broken )))
Yes, that is a very reasonable request that I can get behind.
One could be able to set D-scan to refresh every 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 and all the way up to 5.0 seconds. I feel this should be implemented straight away as a show of goodwill from CCP.
Iām sure many have worn out their keyboards/mice, Is there a CSM here that can champion this?
Not true.
For the eleventy billionith time. Map stats update on the server tick every 20 minutes. The same timer that you wallet pings ratting ticks at you.
I can exceed ratting income, in either low or high sec. Easily and the method is in no way restricted or scarce.
You do understand for most competent players beating the tar out of the V key has been called flying forever, it was the first thing I was taught about PvP flight.
Good grief. I think we can basically summarize the entire Eve playerbase here quite nicely.
Eve players truly loathe two things: Change, and the way things are.
Most accurate statement in the whole thread.
The thing Iāve noticed the most about BO, is how empty null feels now. To not even see your own alliance in local makes Eve feel like youāre playing a dead game.
Sure, I log on to mumble and have discord etc, but the in-game look in my opinion is not a good one for the game long-term.
Maybe look at adding blues/alliance back to local? leave neutrals and below off?
For whatever it is worth, I hate the Blackout. What is the point of having our own āspaceā if I cannot see who is in it?
