Local Comms Blackout - Discussion Thread - Part Deux!

I read, neighing …
This is my personal opinion, based on my observations in various EVE systems (empire, low, null).
And so Google translator is still that comedian
" not WE, but THEY"

It is possible, I will not argue here … But you must admit as a result, all this has reduced the use of chat systems in zeros from 100% to 5%. The main work of the chat system is to ensure the transmission of messages from one player to another or others. The lack of exchange between players do you think does not reduce the load on the chat system? What is unfair my previous statement in view of the above?
As I understand it, you turned on the locale  Share it?

With the blackout life in null has become extremely risky and difficult for the residents. On the other hand for the hunters it has become too easy. Especially covert ships and covered cynos are becoming overpowered. they can move around in force without detection. It is overpowered.

Personally my take has always been that the reason the larger groups don’t fight is because their respective leadership is way to buddy buddy. Be buddy in real life, but in EVE, there has to be the hate and the will to fight till eviction

And yet the massive rewards have not been cut. Its called risk vs reward. If you don’t like it there are other places you can move.

One of the consequences of opening your post with an insipid and dismissive argument like, “u just want ez gankz” is that it’s impossible to maintain interest in assembling the 1000 piece semantic jigsaw puzzle that is the remainder of the post. :woman_shrugging:

Maybe if you waited until the end to show your hand like that?

Yeah, I’m about 95% industrial, actually. I show up for fleets sometimes for the sake of not getting yelled at about paps, but I’m typically on the “defensive” side of the intel game.

So I guess that argument is ■■■■■■.

Ah, Oh, Uh…

Pk then, I thought there was a statement somewhere from CCP that I did not know of.

Thanks anyway.

I’ve heard form a friend’s neighbor’s cousin that his niece’s brother in law knows a guy that heard about some dude who…

Developed an Intruder Report Array.

So, I guess the BO “nightmare” has a way around.

This is getting interesting!

In the words of @Arrendis find a better allaince.

participation links lol

Yup. So ridiculous, a quantifiable metric that’s helped us not only be the biggest alliance in the game, but do it with almost no internecine drama. Hah! How stupid of us, actually doing things that work!

I don’t actually find it objectionable to periodically show up and do my bit to assist with collective goals.

I see plenty of guys who are constantly active ratting, mining, and otherwise making use of the space that is maintained by communal effort who mysteriously vanish without a trace when it’s time to actually participate in that communal effort themselves. Don’t see too much of a problem with keeping track of who the parasites are, really, so long as it’s not obnoxiously overbearing.

nothing about rewards in my post. learn to read. my post was about the overpowering properties of blackop ships to move completely undetected and in big force.

They may know each other in real life - many players attend RL events run by CCP but that isn’t why they don’t fight.

  • The main reasons they don’t fight are far more sinister than that -
There is no reason to - Every region, due to changes made by CCP, have the same things. They took away “reasons to fight” with moon mining changes, multiple structures per system, grind inducing damage caps etc

  • But to be completely frank - The main reason the biggest groups won’t fight is because - No-one wants to risk losing.

  • Finally, CCP has just reduced the ability for the biggest most expensive ships i the game to meet each other on a field of battle with new Cyno changes - Just another reason not to risk losing them. Keep them at home for defence fleets, which creates a huge problem because Big ships need to be there to kill big ships but if you can’t get them there, how do you fight?
Doesn’t matter how many subcaps you bring to someones home systems for a fight when you will be facing a Super capital fleet.

Why don’t you work your way through this and then try this whole internet forum thing again once you have the fundamentals down?

It would be interesting to hear what solution you can offer.
