The most offensive that I understand - we were robbed. My corporation is breaking up, people are leaving. Out of 40 people, in the game 4. Structures are abandoned; there is no way to even partially preserve property. Then redeem in low-sec with huge interest? Is that the essence of the game? Play to pay costs and wait for developers to rob you again?
CCP - you bastards. Such things do not do in 1-2 weeks. You could warn the players about your plans so that they do not pay months in advance with real money. I feel sorry for the money spent, because my game was broken. Now the gangs of the bastards enter and just rob the remaining fools who continue to hope for something. It’s a shame to even enter the game, so much labor and effort was thrown into the trash, because someone out there decided to break something … they wanted chaos. You deceived people and for money…
Draw further “online” in the game, I think you’ll have enough fools … and draw optimistic “grafics”, otherwise people will suspect something. You are the last bastards. Property can be returned, but there are no people … who scatter on other projects.

this idea was presented like 3 years ago. People laughed at it. Same as Drone implants. Welcome to Eve although it’s actually good idea , same as the cyno need a capacitor to be light up.

@Independent Griffin

Sorry to hear that about your corp, but you are not alone. I know plenty of players and small corporations who are experiencing the same issue. This so called ‘Era of Chaos’ if not chaos within New Eden, it is chaos at CCP as they panic to hit the metrics and stats that PA have probably imposed on them.

Lets not beat around the bust here, CCP is a business now taken over by another company, and all that company wants is profit. Why else would they have invested?

We keep taking about player retention and the fact we need more players, this is true. But one thing people do not realize is eve is not like other MMO’s, it is unique, so much so that you need a certain mindset and maturity to play it. There is no instant gratification in Eve and you need plenty of patience.

All i can advise you to do is try to weather the storm, cut back to minimal structures and activity in order to preserve your Corp and the time and effort you have put into it to make it what is is. Failing that, find another corp in a similar position and consider a merger. The last thing this game needs is more players abandoning it.

Playing “Wormholes Online” doesn’t appeal to me what so ever. CCP Falcon, our community manager telling people to “F*** off back to high sec” like it’s the next best thing doesn’t help either.

I’m starting to resent CCP.

CCP obviously want less players

EDIT : had to rewrite my sentence

its not that they want fewer players, its that they want to make a few thousand players happier at the expense of several thousand more players. Lets face it, the very large PVE community tries to plex its accounts. a large share of the PVP community doesn’t generate the income to do so, so they buy plex. The wallet warriors are what CCP wants. The idea of making the game more challenging for veterans is targeting a relatively small audience. The posts above about smaller corps breaking up is common now. the answer is go to high sec , or join a bigger group is utter ■■■■■■■■. it really is time for CCP to publish some kind of direction / mission statiement other then the generic chaos message.

Did you guys read the latest Imperium News Articles? If not, I recommend doing so. All of you! because as I said before, we will not find a solution with these forums but we can truly express that we can actually do something about it and exercise our right to protest.

I suggested to cut all corners and proceed to kill noobs now instead of allowing time and Null migration to evolve in a predictable massacre of anything unfit dwelling High Sec before BO. I now tell you guys, it has already started as multiple low sec pockets within Empire are feeling it as you read. Go and do your research and isolate a couple of those pockets’ data and contrast against historical.

So, as collaboration to this thread and since I’m not leaving EVE as single handed reaction, here is my strategy and personal agenda against this mockery:

  1. All pilots have been instructed to watch their personal wallets. Anything bling is safed up for the time being. We are not buying from hubs and are flying low.

  2. I am not logging my characters as contribution to stupid offers. This kill one get 10 and kill 5 get whatever… I just don’t play along.

  3. I am not logging on peak times. Apparently, the peak daily is an important number for some imbecile out there. It doesn’t apply to me, as I am on early US TZ, which is crap anyways but I won’t log at peak even for stupid offers, GM crapscade events (or anything GM related) or even CTA’s… we will handle on some other effing SOV timer.

  4. Projection is halted. I have requested our Command to halt projection. We’re not attacking anyone for the time being. There are not enough numbers anyways, we just pew with T1’s whenever possible.

  5. I have removed the recurrent 6 month subscription payment and it’s about to expire as group in like 20 days. This allows me to micromanage my subscriptions in case CCP does not go the right way for me.

  6. I will ONLY pay monthly base subscription even if it costs me more. I will LIMIT and control my accounts and payments strictly. It’s a big downgrade from my part, as it represents an 80% MINIMUM reduction of kacheen kacheen.

Of course, some Neanderthal will come with stupid arguments against these actions, and well…

It’s all I can do from my seat. I’ve been watching the numbers guys, they don’t look hot and there is not much to do for us atm.

With these actions, I’m still giving CCP the benefit of doubt and a chance to get to work. I am downgrading everything until there is a single plug to pull off this great game.

This blackout is killing your game, game attendance is the lowest it’s been since 2006, and you keep plugging along like it’s a good idea, WAKE UP.

I am reading that Star Citizen will likely come online starting in 2020. Maybe, I’ll see you there.

I remember reading that about 2015, too.

You are joking right.
Star Citizen has been due to come out next year for the last 5 years.

Now It has been announced that Star Citizen will NEVER be released ‘In the conventional way’

Except that paying customers are what matters.

there aren’t gonna be any paying customers if the numbers keep dropping, this time last year there were 35k online. today we barely made 25k. the last time the attendance was this low, the game had just come online two years prior and was just getting the American TZ into the game.

And how many of those 35k were paying customers?

Again, revenue is what matters not number of players.

how many have already stopped subbing the game because of the blackout? i’m in a small nullsec alliance and I can tell you straight out the number of log offs and unsubs when the blackout went live was really really high.
