Local Comms Blackout - Discussion Thread - Part Deux!

@CCP_Falcon why???

Wasn’t 10,000 posts with over half from toxic people enough?

Sure there was positive posts within, but the number of name calling, crying was beyond a joke.

Have you read literally anything Falcon’s posted on reddit, ever?

Man’s more of a troll than all of Horde.

Lol,that would make this make sense…

Should have known him in the V days. There’s stories. So many stories.

Ain’t my place to reveal all the man’s secrets.

Oh yeah. Oh yeah… thaaaat’s the stuff. Mommy needs her NaCl. Post more.

… seriously, there was a semi-colon in there. That’s rare salt.

… yeah I’ll be in my bunk.

Don’t applause. Those are all things that null players should already have been doing.

Man they really let the nullbears’ jimmies go unrustled for way too long.

I’d usually agree… but from what I’ve seen, said guy is a rookie showing moxie; we’ve got a 10k post thread full of so-called “experienced vets” who’d rather cry about this change on forum alts and “unsub 96 accounts” instead of adapting to the new meta like he did.

I like to encourage good habits where possible.

The whiny ones who refuse to adapt, however, can take those tears, and save them as lube for when someone who did adapt personally delivers a hot load of antimatter up their exhaust ports. Or go to low/highsec. If all someone does is avoid interaction with others, their absence from the ecosystem wont be noticed.

I think it’s likely pointless to argue with the pleb AnatanD Airin, @Arrendis.

The person appears to have not logged into game to do anything but ship-spin since the 13th like most of the other loudest plebs.

LoL, you stepped in that crap already, you’ve been quoted. Can’t delete your post and act like it didn’t happen now nullibear.
Love how some people hide behind alts instead of posting with mains. Or at least I’d hope that is an alt cause wow, that has to be the worst KB history I’ve seen in ages.
Also doesn’t look the whiner’s done anything since the 6th so I’m not sure how much input it should get.

Falcon might also want some salt too.
Falcons have to eat too, might as well be tasty.

Lol a guy that lives in J-Space giving his two cents on the NULL blackout, calling out people for ship spinning while the KB shows he’s on a downward slant for losing ships lately… But has time to troll :rofl::rofl:

That’s the problem of salami slicer arguments. CCP Falcon has already made a statement about a desire to extend the blackout to this classification of space. How is the removal of local in low security space, any more or less acceptable than its removal in null security space?

Why are these kind of unilateral changes okay, when they seem to have bypassed the feedback mechanism that the CSM provide?

If this >7 day notice had been given for then station → citadel conversion, the result of who ended up with what factional citadel could have been quite different, though it would have been a lot more representative of who’d historically owned the locations than the PL/NC dot ‘gotta-flip-them-all’ theft that happened in Providence?

Is it really okay that CCP gave more notice to change the bandwidth and drone count of a VNI than they did to remove local? Its really okay that its called ‘delayed’ when it should really have a name closer to ‘passive’ ?

Getting the small things right might not seem important, yet they can have significant repercussions. This decision seems to have bypassed a lot of the processes for introducing changes into the game and its frustrating that after years of the glacial pace of shifts in the meta, this is more like getting rear-ended by a bus than giving the iceberg a big push.

Sigh. another person who likely isn’t what they say they are, and doesn’t have the two brain cells to rub together to figure out how to search for someone’s name in killboards before they open their face.

Hide behind a dead alt, don’t really care. However I have lived in null and been camped, and didn’t care… and that can be verified in KB, cause I’m not a hiding pansy.

I’ve only been hot-dropped in PvE or mining once, and that was way back when I first went to nullsec and didn’t know what the hell I was doing, aside from going where rats were stronger and ticks were higher. I ranted for a second, got linked https://youtu.be/6k86kx8rR5I and kept on freaking rolling.

This is a PvP game. Don’t care what your opinion is on that, if you play in the game you consent to getting blown up. And the game is designed (or is supposed to be) around risk=reward. Null has been a stagnant mess and local was one part of that problem.

Also of note in my post history is that I used to be a screeching “local fanboi” too. Took a break, came back and all my mates were in jspace. I groaned about it, played in null for a while because I was skeered of no local, then I allowed my in-game balls to drop, and gave it a try. Was scary at first and I sweat bullets in even simple things, but I adapted. Now it’s your turn.

Lmao moved to j-space (only been dropped once) I wonder why…?

Another scrub who doesn’t live in a place acting like they know best for how to live in said space. Go crawl back in your hole, because your argument is terrible and your experience is about as much…

Command destroyers and no local is so good. Dear CCP please make a module that will convert excavators to ISKs right in space, because i’m tired of flying to selling them.

Man, things have gotten pretty weird in Eve 2019 but I’m still fairly certain undocking, playing, and dying sometimes is regarded as superior play to ship spinning.

Yeah? If they’re following the meta, you have a couple FAX ambulances on standby to warp in when things go south?

Don’t whine about null security space being broken when J space has massive issues with force disparity between residents and invaders.
