Most of the old players i know are going alpha and moving to other mmo’s. Face it the BO only works for pvp and without the care bears think of ship costs alone for the pvp ranks.

Content is a subjevtive thing to much one way and no targets for pvp to much the other way to much botting / easy isk. BO only affects the pvp not the economics.Because cost becomes releavent to supply

It’s a deception! there is no chaos.
I like chaos, I think if people learn about the chaos concept, they might end up loving it. I just think most people hate being treated like fools.
If you are saying “I like chaos”, you like chaos. Studies on human behaviour does not exactly say that people like chaos but we cannot generalize this to everyone. There may be exceptions of course. Maybe it is something about the definition of chaos.
Possibly… I look at it from an evolution pow. Chaos emerge when patterns are absent. It’s essential for evolution of intelligence. I like it! and it’s fundamental curiosity seeder. Humans live and thrive for and because that definition of chaos.
Which is different from confusion.

still it does not mean humans like it. humans usually look for patterns, they look for a way out of chaos and inner balance and so on and so on. i do not want to go too technical tho.

No matter what definition you put on BO - It isn’t creating “chaos”.
It is however creating doubt on many levels, which is not good unless the doubt can be assessed and weighed against options.
Human nature is such that if you can’t see viable options - You don’t take the risk.
If i jump off this cliff because a lion is chasing me, I might die but if i don’t jump I will die - A chaotic situation where there is choice.
If I keep walking around in this blacked out room, I will die unless i put in much more effort than if i had a torch but if i leave it I can find something else to do. - What CCP have done with BO, not chaos so much as forcing players to make a choice.

I don’t think there is as many un-subbing as many think - I believe there is a lot who just aren’t logging in while waiting to see what’s next.
I’m not sure on that one. But meh, were not going to see any true numbers for at least another month. My subs run out next feb…
I think you’re seeing a lot of people not renewing while they’re logged off. No point, really. If you know you’re going to be logged out, and you know you can just resub before logging in… might as well save the money for a few months.

1 Week Player activity average is 17k. 1 Yr average is 31K. That is a 14K loss in 1 year. The peak activity isn’t even going above the 1 year average anymore. Eve is dying, and it’s CCP’s fault.

Sorry but Thursday night, 2,500 of those were in Jita - All those market alts and no-one to buy their wares
Another 3,000 or 4,000 would be in the rest of highsec (900+ in Amarr alone), a couple thousand in lowsec.
Not many “lete pvp’rs” in nulsec at all… Seems they are adapting too, by not logging in.,.
