And yes I was talking about from the market and as I have previously said those people could be replaced by an algorithm or as already happens by CCP placing buy and sell orders.

I was thinking about CCP’s mindset… they were facing a big ass blue donut and they can’t just outright ban them for no reason… that blue donut just roflstomp’ed on the PL/NC boogey man… CCP can’t have that… Hell Falcon said he was in PL… and probably still is… So they came up with a plan to make the game utter poo poo… so everyone quits and destroys most of the player base… and hoping for a power vacuum in null to form so… the righteous people can roflstomp with supers and titans once again… not these god damn goon donut asshols… CCP working hard on fixing that…
The officially party line for CCP is… The game has never looked so good… We know that ratting/mining is down 80% in null but WE ARE BETTER THAN EVER… all those players are… doing other stuff…

But it is - Blocs/Blue donuts have never had it better, recruitment is up, less ships getting killed, isk is still pouring in, although at a slightly slower rate, sov and structures are now even more invulnerable to attack and Tuesdays Cyno changes will further shore up defences for the biggest guys.
Funny but i figured the Dev responsible for this was a Goon. No Dev with “fixing the game” in mind would release changes that encourage players to join the biggest group they can find.
But, but - actually putting development time in to fix all the mistakes they made over the years = Effort, thought, professionalism, management and Devs who actually understand the game.
All seemingly missing at CCP headquarters.

Pity CCP threw all theirs away, they might have given them a clearer picture of what they are doing. A little scepticism [the theory that certain knowledge is impossible] might have led them down a different path and brought about real change.

I think forcing subcap PVE in blackout is not going to work… just is not worth it; people are not and will not do it. So it completely ruins that aspect of the game… 100% … put nullsec subcap PVE right in the shitt can… cause its done.
Capital/Super Cap PVE (with a cyno recon hidden nearby) will be the go to now… the umbrella is really only negatively effected by people saying F*ck EVE and refusing to play… otherwise it will be unaffected by in large… If you couldnt get away with a gank now… you won’t be able to get away with it anyways. (Also Ratting is AIDS)
These are dumb ass half baked changes that literally F*CK the players who are not the problem… so hard… alot just aren’t playing… cause they said… FckEVE… and I don’t mean EVE is dying ~~~… i mean its just not enjoyable/fun/entertaining or even challenging; and CCP’s reasoning is so infuriating… cause its SO HALF ASS and even admit its just some ■■■■ they read on reddit…
So the changes just has major negative effects on alot of ingame content and while flat ignoring clear problems citadel timers/spam/damage cap… cyno jammers, 50 multibox’ed rorqual fleets… ect ect… and it just turns the game into cloaks online… which does not interest me…
CCP just make a SOE T3C and we can call it even… and ill play your ■■■■ game… and make it OP AF please

While you can only speak for yourself and not others, I think there may be some truth in what you are saying.
For YEARS ccp devloped null sec as living and farming space. The people that went to null after these efforts began around 2009/10 were mainly farmer types.
And (duh) they farmed. Too much.

A lot of players I know feel betrayed by the black out. I dont, not really. I just think its wrong headed and lazy. Ccp hasnt been a very good shepard of eve online for a long time now.

By my count the player activity is down 12,000. Lets just use that 12,000 as a starting number even though activity is usually far less than total subs. 12,000 players buying plex each month. 500 Plex per month x 12,000 is 6,000,000 PLEX. Or 12,000 x $20.00 US = $240,000 per month. The people buying the PLEX to sell for ISK are directly supporting CCP, regardless of the ISK. You cannot PLEX an account unless someone, somewhere buys the PLEX first. Mark Marconi just needs to go away.

I personally came to null for wars (pretty much always been in big alliances) but current situation is frustrating af. I’m not flying caps and I’m forced to starve while my corp mates who afk mine in Rorq (Fountain is pretty safe with umbrella fleets) earn billions per day
