Yea, it was a great game up to Proving Grounds… Played it straight for almost for 4 years. was a clan lead, staff at AON and so forth. And then the dumb asses over at DoD decided to screw the game and the result can be seen on steam charts
They are thats why the blackout exists. After a decade of giving Null what ever they wanted, now the rebalance is finally happening and other parts of the game are seeing more people.
That’s exactly what CCP wants. Remember when @CCP_Hellmar talked in this 2 hours long interview about how he wants EVE players to have to use prescription anti stress medication when they play EVE, that they always should feel like as if the rug is continuously being pulled from under their feet? That is exactly what is happening. Remains to be seen how long it will take for this need to take anti-stress medication to seep into CCP’s offices as well.
Ahh the retort of someone who knows he has lost an argument - Resorting to personal attacks - only reinforces how poor your understanding of this discussion is.
Oh and btw, trying to insult someone who already thinks you foolish, only makes you look more foolish.,.
Again, stop with your non-sense and CCP PR bs. There is no rebalancing and there is no seeing other parts of the game. Blackout is not re-balancing the game, it is killing it
No it is just rebalancing the massive rewards given to null. You cannot see this because you some how believe that gravy train with no risk was deserved. You lived in a bubble now it is gone.
If you think or have ever thought EVE with local was safe and a “bubble”, you are way out of touch with the game. EVE is never safe, period. Blackout is not about making the game more dangerous, it is about killing the game
I don’t think so.
One thing is to have stress inside the game and all the blabbing about pills and stuff.
Another one is to have the community RL representatives coming out of a such meeting empty handed.
It should be a chance to lift the spirit, not otherwise.
The “chaos era”?.. oh It will bring stress and some will be engulfing ulcer meds. That is for sure.
When this crapscade begins oozing out of the virtual, thinning some RL wallets, you will know what stress is.
Because, and let it be crystal: The “chaos era” could have had whatever intentions you can speculate but never to erase content, or chase people out of the game.
The farthest I can picture is players having withdrawal symptoms but nothing a house plant wouldn’t cure.
As the guys in that meeting said:
“Something good better happens to EVE”.
I don’t think so, I’ve subscribed to the same apathy these guys shown out there.
May have been suggested before, but if there is a 4-Helium shortage, why not let the players provide it to blackout systems on a system by system basis? This would be a nice way to get harvesters, industry, and logistics players involved and it would let players decide if a system is important enough to keep supplied rather than the invisible overlords deciding a sweeping vote that the blackout systems don’t deserve supplies.
