Than you CCP!! We need people willing to undock. Nothing happens if they are not willing to undock. Blackout was making people not willing to undock.
Now that they are going to undock again, work on ways to make more rorqs supers and titans die.
Make it so they need to move around more, make it so they have to leave systems, make systems/regions run out of resources

For real though; Thanks CCP… I’m happy you TRIED something new and extreme… I think the open endedness of it (and that it went for along time) really made the bottom drop out for PCU… but you tried and it didnt work…
I still think you could iterate on some kinda null local compromise so all can be happy in the end… but do it conservatively…
And for all those that will be bitching… AT LEAST you got the cyno changes… you can keep that one…
No once again we know CCP will cave into null like always and like always the isk price of Plex will climb as the players with cash fall.
Some “hardcore” hunters like to have a big advantage over their prey. BO made a big advantage to hunters. Good hunters did find a way how to catch someone with normal local, but not all wants to play game without advantage on their side. Why would I rat or mine with BO without have any info how much hostile ships is in local or few jumps away? Is need to have 2-3 alts on system gates adequate to be able to rat or mine with one character? And even if I would play like this it is still possible that one cloacked bomber would bridge in 100 bombers away from dscan range. Doesn’t seems to me fair enough to play the game under this conditions, and I would not enjoy the game like that.

Well at least the market will pick back up vs sitting stagnant for the past couple months. I don’t know…was kind of hoping for a breakthrough with scale of combat the size of which the game has never seen. they said chaos but im not seeing it.

With normal local. Saw him coming 10 jumps away. He even announcing he is coming for us. He still schooled all of us, regardless local or not.

I’m very confused by the stream. They just finished saying that faucets were now under control (because of blackout) and that they could start thinking about increasing rewards (because of blackout). And then they said blackout was ending. The messaging was bizarre.
Hopefully they have something more nuanced planned.

CCP did design the game and are not daft. yes some of the staff has moved on to do other things, BUT you know that they all have passion for this game. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit if all remain in contact for desicion making ultimately. You put your heart into something it stays. Don’t think they are done yet with chaos. just a thought
Your salt is absolutely delicious. The blackout completely screwed with the risk/reward balance of the game; many people either unsubbed or moved to highsec to make ISK rather than live with the blackout. Are you really going to argue that a loss of nearly 30% of players over a 2 month period was good for this game? I love PvP as much as the next person but to PvP you need ISK lol
The players voted with their wallets, and CCP understood it.
Also, to educate you a bit on how the economics of the PLEX system actually work; PLEX can only enter the game through a purchase of real money to CCP. At that point it can then be bought by players that either can’t afford a sub with real money, or dedicate so much time to the game that its more economical for them to buy PLEX. And what’s more, because of the price of PLEX CCP actually makes more money off each PLEX purchaser than normal sub. It’s a win-win situation for everyone, including CCP.

That short video tells a lot.
A better saying that the one in Island: “better late than never”. The posture of those two ccp gentlemen says it all: caught, “wasn’t me who did it”.
Glad ccp (or the owners) figured out that they are destroying the game at fast pace, yet to be seen whether players will come back. Maybe we get some sp for undocking and a tshirt “I was there”.

No that is just the penalty CCP have to pay null for daring to stand up to them. So now the rewards for null will be even more out of balance.
