One of the other things that has been discussed for years is the use based Sov. So you must perform so much mining, ratting, etc… per week in each system or the sov starts to slip. This is Sov based not on structures but on actually using the system and the only way to take Sov is to actually do the ratting, mining etc, in that system instead of your opponents.
That would be a great shake up, hell sov stinks at this point anything would be good.
Would that require “work” on CCP’s part???

Eve could gain more players than ever before but it will require work from CCP.
The really sad part is I’m beginning to trust the Null Blocks ideas for a good game far more than CCP’s.

It was the Null sec blocks and their CSM members that turned Null into a stagnant grave yard in the first place.
But it was CCP who were stupid enough to let them pull it off?
I hope so, but I doubt they can keep up with the likes of Goons?

CCP mistook Nulls ability to get people to vote for the CSM some how related to the majority of EvEs ability to vote with their wallets. Hopefully they have learned their lesson now and will look at things like risk vs reward. After all if something is 5 times more profitable it should be 5 times more dangerous.
The biggest problem will be the players who refuse to leave areas after the risk is altered, whining about the new level of risk, rather than adapting and moving to where they are at a comfortable risk level.
For all the banter with CCP they ignored several issues in that little interview like how to handle Botting issues more aggressively . I hope they choke when people go all the opposite way , cap umbrellas grow , make the borders harder to get in , get control over there local channels.
These wars or conflicts they predict wont happen it will go back to like 7 years ago when one alliance controlled over 60 percent of Nullsec. They want to generate conflict it wont happen I can only predict the major Corps will clamp down all the harder and shell up even more , and look forward to it

What he means is for people like himself the bloc will always pull them because they need to use the blocs manpower to help keep themselves safe.
But they are saying it in a way that sounds like they mean ‘everyone’ is like them and im not sure grasp the fact that they are not.

Yet it has been people in Null who have been arguing for the restoration of local and for null to be safer.
Anyway, doesn’t matter now. Local is gone, Null is finally more deserving of the rewards and we can expect more shake ups.
About time. Now I hope they kill off the CSM and most of its stupid ideas.
ACLs don’t operate on standings.
Also what is 1K? A corp can have 16K members (or more).
So you can’t semi-afk mine anymore w/o any backup? Maybe you shouldn’t be in null if that is you prerequisite to be there.

This is the problem now that risk vs reward is being fixed, people who should be in lo-sec demanding that they sould be in Null or spitting the dummy.
Personally I think the game is better off without those who cannot adapt.
