Again, assuming you actually live there, and not simply roam to wrack up kills.
I roam there as well, looking for people to sell ■■■■ to.

Apparently you’re missing the point he looked up my kills and identified who I am… so yes I live there…lol
And the same argument that occurred in the no local in null threads.
On the bright side. there is no local now in null and may you spend 15 years trying to get it back because the risk is now closer to the reward.
We’ll see, I wouldn’t count your chickens
Not sure how much screaming on the forums will do when CCP are actually looking at their accounts this time.
I mean it’s been two weeks, lol, like I said I wouldn’t put my faith in CCP’s numbers, especially not this early, especially considering they aren’t validated or reflected in any other forum (eveoffline as one example), and especially while they’re running summer promotions…lol
All that matters is CCP believe their own figures that we cannot see.
I really don’t know what the fuss is about.
So after years of talking about it, blackout has arrived.
Answer:
Change your game style and adapt.
For example before Pos’s we relied on safe spots, creating 5 and rotating to them so we could not be scanned, then pos’s came and we changed our game play to suit.
New problems arrive, new strategies have to be found, its what keeps everything interesting. Do I like the changes, not hugely, am I going to whinge, nope, I’ll adapt and move on to the next change.
Be positive and enjoy a great game.
Compared to today’s null whs are VERY much safer. Simply because:
So there is generally less people roaming. Contrary to null these days - even the laziest of persons are there buzzing around. Too much traffic is bad for business.
Strange decision.
I can understand binding shutdown of Local to Triglavian invasion for whole region - players will have a choice to close invasion as fast as possible or to ignore it and live without Local.
But CCP does it as ultimatum - Local is off, STFU.
That decision is like one gate play: residents of null-sec can be ambushed any time without a chance to be warned. What’s the goal of that - dropping mineral / isk income into the game universe?
So, I want one more thing: because direct-scan is an aggressive form of scanning we need a notification (visual, say like a flashing ring around capacitor, and sound buzz) when ship got scanned with it, customisable to turn off, ignore fleet / corporation / alliance / standing group.
That thing will balance void of Local.
More jokes.
You do not need to get to a specific system, to kill everyone around you.
Who the hell used WH maps? Maybe on planning where to setup you base but that was it.
You have always had to scan a lot in WH space. It adds to the paranoia.
So No null is still a lot safer. You always have a known path to a market or the ability to cyno. Having a stable supply line is so much safer.
And again someone from null wants it safer.
Safer? - No. Much harder to gankers - yes. Now it’s too easy for them.
You like most of those whining about null without local just seem to miss the massive point that gankers have it harder yes, but their reward is no where near the rewards for ganking and mining that now carry a lot more risk to meet the rewards.
Reward? Their reward - fun and records on killboard, if them looking to become rich - they come a wrong way.
But that is the point the rewards for hunters in any space is not huge unless you are talking about the people who attack freighters.
Which is why it is not risk v reward that is really changing. they are risking more yes but there reward is about the same.
What kind of «risk» you talking about? Risk of completely undetectable infiltration of t3c / bomber squads to any null-sec system via putting covert-ops through WH and opening covert-cyno?
Or about risk to be beaten by mining barges / solo farmer?
Ah! I see - it’s a risk of been wiped by capital fleet, waiting for your attack 24/7 because them nothing to do. How about costs of that fleet and their time?
I’m asking not for canceling blackout for Local, just for getting a bit hard to search targets avoiding rush through many systems at row.
That was a wonderful babble where you assumed so much I am surprised an alternate universe did not form around you.
Reminds me of the methodology used in the decision to implement Blackout and since then…
