Bots are crippled because they depend heavily on local. Dscan and overview data doesn’t help a carrier/Rorq bot even close to as much. Often too late at that point.
I agree. Changes to 0.0-sec space should only be judged by those who don’t live there and have no ideas of how it feels to live there. No actual 0.0-sec dweller has any word in that.

clearly he does not. PLexing is more profitable than subs o CCP on a per month scale. but look at his silver lining. PLex prices will tank people will stop buying plex. People will come back other multi-account peeps will de-sub. If the returns out weigh the de-subs this might work out for CCP . I doubt it as most of those de-subbing will be industry peeps who have 5+ ACCOUNTS. I would be interested to See CCP login ad activity tracking for this event. I can see to bottoming out fast .
Excuse me? Do you really believe that bot creators will not create gate observer bots with function to broadcast warnings? 
And take a note that these bots will be undetectable by players unlike current ones. CCP will need to do a lot of work to try to detect them.

Kiting can do wonders, but you can’t kite in a pve battleship if you want to hit anything. With long range guns, you need rats to burn into you, slightest angle and you’re not hitting. With short range guns, whether direction you move, you just create more angular and hit less, staying still gives best hits. So, once again, there is no kiting in pve battleship. No. Nuh-uh. Nada. Forget it.
Dozen bombers would hit you with 40k alpha. With a proper pve fit you’ll rep 4-5k of it back before another 40k alpha hits you and you’re dead.
Stabs won’t help because you won’t even align in time. Especially so if you tried that kiting thing and have to realign.
There are no circumstances where you don’t die to second bomber alpha. That’s 5 seconds between alphas. There are no “pulling range” in 5 seconds, your bs will go what, a few km at best in that time? There is no aligning, no mjding, no nothing, second alpha, you dead, boom. It will take you 18 seconds to lock a bomber in battleship, you’ll be dead three times before you do that, is that so hard to understand?

You were bitching about price, but a 500 mil hull with a another billion in fit (you need faction lows to get to 1600 dps with cruise/sentries, want that fit also?) and a rattle is LESS survivable than an armor domi, or do I need to explain sig to also?
It’ll do it exactly the speed of a VNI currently, likely faster, don’t have to wait for your drones to get between targets.

Well good thing that you can use multiple types of drones …valks, warriors, hobos…yeah gots it some drones, you can GASP even use your kinetic heavies (they are called WASPs by the way)
That is also also ■■■■■■■■, that is the reason that you can assign unlimited drones. Progod/PL got that nerfed after the Fountain War…grids full of sentires were hitting EVERYTHING without issue.

I think that everyone is being extremely childish about this whole change. For one thing this is CCPs game and they can change it any way they want. To all the people complaining about the changes and threatening to quit. Please grow up, it is a game and you are a player of a game. The changes have not been stated that they are going to be permanent so stop being so hyperbolic. To all the people that are smashing on these people for not wanting their game to change. Please grow up, this game is made for more than just you and you need to respect that as much as the care bear needs to not quit as soon as something changes that MAY negatively affect them. If you two groups truly care about eve than just play the game and stop being so whiney one way or the other. I think the whining turns new players away more than things that CCP has done in the past. So to sum it up PVPers stfu and stop pushing people out of the game that already has sub problems and PVEers stfu because you have no idea what these changes will do to the meta also this is not permanent yet so calm your outrage for a moment.

Scoots we are not going to agree. I just think you may find EVE more boring when you find the number of easy targets for you to kill has dropped substantially. I hope you will enjoy flying round for hours in empty systems looking for targets.
Maybe it will not be as bad as some think. Maybe it will. We shall see. But EVE cannot afford to loose any more paying players. A simple economic fact of the real world. So if you see this as a great chance kill more so be it. But it could be EVE’s last HURRAH if it looses too many paying players. No business can afford to loose revenue. I mean CCP’s new Korean masters will not like it.

I have come across these fits, they require T2 Javelin Torps and of course missile guidances in the low and of course range related missile rigs. Their DPS is anaemic, but it really can be annoying for the target.

Right but the blotter doesn’t pay for PLEX and the person who does pay for it would have bought it anyway. So with less botters PLEXing that just means PLEX gets cheaper due to less demand from bots. Which means more regular players can afford to PLEX.

I have a T1 version with 87 km range in my corp hanger, T2 fit launchers and a bit more adjustment and 120 km is easy.

Your idiotism is showing, no point arguing, cya. I didn’t really enjoy eve, it was a disappointment after disappointment, and if other games didn’t betray me on a regular basis, I won’t have been coming back.
DED is whole other story, where you can’t get hotdropped, because even if you burn cyno inside DED, people jumping on it would end up outside, making the whole debate void. And you clearly shown you have no experience because you only heard about doing DED sites…
I know everything there is about actually relevant part of eve (PvE), you clearly don’t, we have nothing to talk about until you grow enough brain to do grade math of 40+40k damage = dead ship in 5 seconds before lock or align.
Bots don’t often interact with each other. It takes far more setup to make a gate bot that’ll communicate with a ratting/mining bot. It’s possible but it’ll only be done after this change and it’ll be enough of a time sink to discourage many bots. Also more importantly how will a bot possibly know about threats already in the system or somebody that flew in and triggered the bot then waited a half hour?
