If they have a mach scram/webbed sure the whole point is to be extremely hard to be tackled, also the bombers would do ■■■■ all if your kiting away from them killing off the faster stuff first, torps are not the fastest moving things in the world and the range is anemic while mach can fire with auto’s from huge distances. P.s I’v finish a haven in a stabber so yea pve is easy if you know how to fly.

But all this is beside the point, ratting in general is bounty based which stays the same, if people move out of nullsec then all the drops and resources would go up in value so why would anyone do anom’s they would be better off doing other activities such as exploration/mining.

You can’t kite in pve battleship (your tracking is worse than small rats, if you try kiting, you won’t be hitting).
You can’t kite bombers in a battleship either, they are much faster.
Pve fit machariel will not be able to hit a bomber.
Bombers can reach over 120km range.
pve is easy if you never done it.
Ratting drops have been nerfed long ago and have no value.
Without local, the only krabbing activities you’ll see are rorqs and supers under supercap umbrella. I mean, if it stays longer than a week, that’ll probably all it take to kill stupids that undock, but that’s it, so the rest is a moot point, CCP doesn’t want krabbing in nullsec to be anything more than free targets, so they can pay me for being one or ■■■■ off, I’m not paying to be content.

That is poorly fit overpriced pve domi that is literally VNI levels of damage, and it’ll live for 5 to 10 seconds against dozen bombers, meaning it will neither align nor spool up mjd in time. So yeah, try again.

I never said it would survive bombers…I said it does sanctums and havens with ease…which it does.

…and your VNI isn’t going to be doing that level of damage very very soon, no realistically unless you are planning on burning around in medium blaster range, which I assure you, you aint.

As I noted its 700dps and it does it instantly for 80km, more when things get closer and you can swap to higher damage drones.

I get it though, you don’t want to lose your 75mil crab-a-thon…well tough that is going away big time. Next week if I am not mistaken.

Scoots I have probably played this game for as long as you have. Maybe longer. So I do have a good idea what’s happening. I just not blinded by the idea that all EVE is about id trying to rack up kills on the KB. It has a lot more to offer. And if you cannot see that You do not know what you are talking about.

IMNSHO, ratting in null will go down the tubes. There are some of us who like to rat/mine and NOT PVP (sorry folks, we do exist). yes, we will defend our space, but not all of us enjoy PVP.

I can’t see taking my Rorq out to mine not knowing what is around and if a neut shows up, what do we do? We dock up. Same with those with carriers/supers

With ease and LOTS of time compared to actual ratting ships, like, say, a carrier. Or at least a Rattlesnake (still twice the damage of that lolboat). The whole point of our discussion was that this deluded gentleman carried that disease that lets one think there are pvp ships that are at least viable in pve and vice versa, that is proven wrong so many times I don’t know where ignoramuses who think otherwise are coming from.

Sentries will not hit anything not burning into you. Bombers won’t.

I would be agreeing with you if eve pvp were ANY fun at all. Unfortunately it is so boring, pointless, and niche, that it’s #2 on the list of undesirable activities. All I’m saying if that CCP says I’m only there to be a free target, I’m saying that either they pay me for it or ■■■■ off.

Stop crying about local in Null because you have become so complacent with the game mechanic and don’t want to change the way you play (which has become a boring snoozefest)

This is a good change, if null is supposed to be unpoliced then why should there be a carebear friendly local chat for recon in there?

Kiting increases your tracking expecially if you dont just hit keep at range or orbit but manually fly your ship, yes It would be difficult as ■■■■ to survive vs bombers as max skilled pilots would be shooting those torps that would hit you really hard to 60km’s at speeds of 4500m/s but thats only under perfect circumstances.

You missed the point enough to question your intelligence.

The whole point of that change is that bots and umbrellas are barely affected by it, while it’s everyone else that is completely and utterly screwed.
