For all those who’ve neve been in w-space and literally don’t know anything about it, yeah. But all those with at least a tiny bit of knowledge have no problem telling them apart.

its not a chatbox, its a part of the game that was tehre for over a 15 years and it simply cant not be taken out whenever ccp want
its also a source of intel - if anyone is at home or not
Cynos work for mass movement of goods over long distances ie nullsec to Jita… and not much else.
They are well overdue a rework.
Nullsec is still nullsec . It still has gates and all the comfort of k-space. The perfect intel of local made this space stagnant, boring and littered with bots farming 24/7 to the determent of the rest of the game.
It’s good local is gone. The inteligent players will adapt and more interesting content will come from this. Crybabies will quit or go back to mining in highsec where they belong. HTFU.

Terrible idea. The people saying they’re resubbing are obviously toxic lurkers who don’t actually give you money, CCP. Driving away long term customers for toxic fly-by-nights is a terrible business model.
I left Providence when PL began their hilariously disastrous invasion and I know of multiple people who just up and left the game - not because of PL but because it wasn’t worth continuing, for them. They’ll never return. Recently left Querious for various reasons but the main bloc of long term residents didn’t like where the game was going and they self destructed all their assets before biomassing. Are you intent on driving away customers?

Also CCP I hope you are seeing the trend in all these Gen Zero post Hilmar zombies that are positng in support.
They equate multiple accounts with botting. Therefore they are either single accounts OR at best dual (hey leet PVP has to have a boosting command dessie for S0l0" right?)
Multiple account mining fleets do not become efficient below 6 accounts with barges (I would say 3 for Rorquals) without any scout alts. Due to alpha restrictions ALL of them have to be omega. Personal experience, 9 accounts for mining and 3 for scouting. that makes 12 accounts.
I am worth SIX times the financial value of a single Gen Zero “pvp” scrub.
There are more of me that there are of them, and we are leaving this game in droves. You have the stats guys. You know what happens when the account whales stop logging in. Your new Korean overlords are going to be really happy to see 8-9k concurrent online numbers.
Are bots an issue. Hell yes, they are a cancer. However, you have the tools to deal with them already, you just need to be competent and have an ounce of courage to take on the RMT cartels.
Removing local will do nothing except punish small entities who do not have the supercapital coverage of the larger blocs (all you boneheads who think it is open season in Delve are retarded. They are waiting for you, Theta4Life). Instead you will go farm the rental regions and those small alliances (or stupid take your pick) who live outside the Imperium/PanFam snugglehuddle.

Want to know what happens next? Look at low sec, hours of low satisfaction “pvp” with pockets that are off limits due to organised coalitions who respond with overwhelming force.
