You’re not SUPPOSED to feel safe in “Null Sec”
“NULL” stands for ZERO or NONE. “SEC” stands for “SECURITY”
In other words it’s ZERO SECURITY space. This change is LOOOOOOONG overdue.
Finally, people will have to fly in dangerous space as if it’s actually dangerous. We wormholers have laughed at nullers for years, welcome to actually having to play the game.

The cloaky campers are only a problem if you know they’re there. Not having local chat as your safeguard is going to force you to fly better, and have backup ready, or a quick way to frag a bomber cyno. Most cloakies have target delays after de cloaking that make it easy for even a well prepared carrier to escape, assuming you don’t have quick backup on standby.
How will you feel when there are 15,000 people online when you log in? At some point it is not financially sustainable for CCP. Have only one char per user will save the few that pay a fair amount but… CCP needs that money.
EVE needs players for critical mass, targets, folk to buy stuff. Folk to sell stuff.
So many are gleeful to get rid of the industrialists but then where do the ships and stuff come from?
It is all a very careful balance and when the balance is out of kilter people find something else to do with their time. We NEED them to play. We need every alt we can get.

As a veteran of EVE, I’ve played more than some of you dolts by twice over, and a veteran of old Nullsec and WH space… this change couldn’t have come sooner. A lot of doomsayers and saber rattling from Nullbears and megaboxers but truth is this will you muppets actually pay attention to directional for the first time in what? 10 bloody years?
Oh and the amount of people who love this change seems to dwarf that of muppets who do not, all they need is a bit extra push behind this to really get things rolling (like the drifters or triglavians accidentally another 4-5 more null regions in) and EVE will be back to being fun and growing not being a den of what? 5000 players of which some 3-4k run the difference to hit 20k concurrent users at peak. That is not EVE, that’s MU Online or some other asian clickfest.
has this todo with the drifters =3? like blacking out communications?

btw for everyone which is complaining about the drifter attacks. 4 years ago when ccp intruduced them in a trailer shown they how they shutted all their gates down etc. and it was said “they explore, preparing for war” that trailer from 2015 may explains why the jove empire finally comes out of their shutted off systems
the answer is simple, they are now ready for war and simply attack. if this is the case would that be amazing how CCP pushes the story forward. it would be aswell amazing if anyone flys now over to the old jove gate (where ya was backthen still able to go in) is now back online with huge npc drifter fleets in system and with a base etc. i really hope those attacks continue. i mean those drifter only destroyed stations of which noone taken care of (aka low power mode). i love it how NULLSEC shakes right now. and what i readed about test and goonswarm ally up to kill eves trading system is just idiotic. i dont think that CCP would stop in pushing the story forward just because 2 empires in nullsec decide to boicot the eve market. + maybe ppls noticed that mostly only stations was under attack which abused the drifter AI´s aka attacking them, flying off to a station and then “farming them” #lowstandingtorwardsthejoveempire =D isnt it a nice payback? i wish CCP would continue with the drifter stuff x3.
would be even more amazing if the jove and triglavians having now an alliance. while jove focuses on nullsec, focusing the triglavians on LS/HS. theres so much potential story lore in this eve invasion addon <3
