I just wanted to remind everyone of this tactic and help stoke the flames of fear that seem to be running rampant! You can D-scan a target down at any warpable location without combat probes. You might have to use scanner probes to find the signatures first, but they don’t scare off people as much as combat probes do. (see combat probe on scanner=dock up) It was hard for me to do, but it works if the target stays in one place long enough.

I highly support this for NS. Watching all the salt that these NS carebears are giving is quite enjoyable. I see that they are also talking about how NS is getting ravished by this change. But what they don’t understand is how many times us WH people have been raped and pillaged by changes that were directed mainly at WH groups for years. With the new mass changes soon to come that will affect how we roll the holes to the no moon goo for you but here is a shiny object for you to look at, we have done nothing but adapt and overcome. NS carebears, you all need to embrace the change that was supposed to be done from the beginning and quit complaining on how this is going to ruin your isk printing. You want the best isk making, the best sites yet you don’t want any risk involved, go play another game and give everyone that WANTS to play the game your stuff before you leave. It is a shame on how you have to play the game instead of using scripts or bots to play for you. But this will definitely start a new chapter in NS static WH’s that harbor groups that hunt NS. This will be a beautiful site to see indeed.

Only for Cosmic Signatures. For Cosmic Anomalies (which is what all of the nullsec ratting/mining sites are), you don’t.

tbh, it makes no sence game wise that there are even bounties in null let alone local.

Null should be outside of concord juristiction completely. You shouldn’t have the concord perks as you run the place not them.

Null sov owners should require a fueled structure that provides it’s members, and only it’s members/allies that local intel. Any invading entity should have to scan for recon and/or anchor/defend their own counter intel structure… or spies.

Based on this black out, it’s most likely inbound in some form now anyway. There has been talk of other forms of intel structures for a quite a while now.

With wormholes you need to crit the static and pray to Bob that a T3 gang doesn’t fly in through one of the several dozen new entrance that show up suddenly every day and ruin your mining/anom running or have someone collapse your static with the new one being somewhere high traffic necessitating a roll OP til you can find a “quiet” exit. It’s dramatically safer to operate in blackout null compared to wormholes.

Don’t people have to scan down the sites in Wormholes first?

In null all the sites are listed on that window and like fish in a barrel, a roaming gang only has to d-scan to figure out of they want to hit the haven or the forsaken rally point. Don’t like ratters? Small/Medium/Large/etc mining anomalies are in there too.

Force them to be scanned down and maybe Null is like a WH.

Combat sites in W-space are anomalies just like in null. It’s only the relic- data- and gas-sites that require scanning.

This would work for me also. I don’t see you guys on local and you don’t see me on local unless I speak. I didn’t turn on my “transponder” or whatever you would want to call it. Were back to where we are now, just doing in it a different way.
