Nor is a nano fit orthrus that runs away the second it gets sensor damped by a Keres.
By what metric are you saying we âshouldâ have more than 100,000 ?
Yet delve is obviously full of people who do nothing but rorqual mine, by your logic they should be easy pickings. Let us know how that turns out.
by the rate at which eve was accruing new players in 2010 before sov costs for nullsec where changed by a factor of 10X due to a patch entierly designed to kill provi was applied to the server in december of that yearâŚdesigned almost in the main by jade Consstantine.
Thatâs probably going to end up a bit like this. https://youtu.be/R4LQvPCuwbY?t=80
Do you have any evidence to support that something taking place back in 2010 would have had the results you are claiming now, or are you just pulling this all out of you nethers?
Why did this make me think of EA? That big gathering where they announced that the next version of Diablo would be on phones and they whole room booooed!
in mid 2010 eve was accruing every quarter between 2 and 5 k new average population online at prime time Growth. figure it for yourself.
Of course, ten customers who only log in their super and fax alt are much better for the health of the game than one guy with 12 mining barges.
You are right about Dominion, being one of the causes of the decline in player numbers, another was the change of the -25% ROF on destroyers which created a prey/hunter imbalance in hisec.
I listened to the ex-leader of CVA and his thoughts were rather interesting especially in terms of Dominion which I thought was a truly dreadful system. That certain nullsec players had a hand in designing that surprises me not at all.
Even though I liked the change to the Rorqual and it created a lot of fun content it enabled massive indy setups to over produce raw material resulting in massive capital proliferation. Add to that mix massive over productive ratting and we have what I refer to as the excess. The game cannot stand that and the overall balance has gone to pot. Problem is that there is no easy solution to this.
In truth you are both right.
Ok, so you donât have any evidence. Just like so many others, youâre just saying things, and when asked for evidence, you just tell them âlook it up yourselfâ. Good to know.
Dominion, the one with the who has the most towers wins? Which ex-CVA leader is this?
Dominion was the SBU system, with TCUâs and IHUBâs. Prioer to that smaller less well endowed entities could hold the line through sheer willpower, one such example is IRC and ED against Red Alliance and others.
The ex-CVA leaders name begins with an A, I think @SeerinDarkness would be able to answer that question.
Oh yeah, I head thatâs were you would just get your âfriendâ to SBU your own system, then take it down for 5 minutes and put it back up again, effectively forcing the invader to kill a SBU before being able to work on a TCU. Yeah⌠that sounds awful.
in all actuality u can probably look up the numbers somewhere my information is all emperical from playing steadily from the fall of 2006 8-12 hrs a day every dayâŚso yes exctrapolate and figure it for yourself.
There is no EVE without null players and null economy. According to kill zkillboard last time you went to null sec was neverâŚHow you can be competent to say whats good or whats bad for null. Its easy to talk â â â â when you are not part of it. Remember all that ships you are losing or killing in lowsec are made by minerals from null, otherwise high sec miners would push price so high that one Merlin of Rifter would cost 10+ Million.
So now youâre moving goalposts over to 2006. Ah, good to know.
Maybe if you keep moving goalposts back far enough, youâll find some evidence to support your claim.
Aralis
As espected, the usual reply about saltiness had to find its way.
High sec break for a few weeks now due to personal reasons. Enjoying for now the drama free environment with ISK to last for months from my ratting carebearing. So, im having fun waching the game burn. As said, time will tell.
