Ok I wont biomass love ya work.
The income in null will increase automatically because less people farm there. Supply / demand.
Says the player in Providence?
Next to Delve, Providence is the most hated region in the game, and the people in it have been targets for almost every âcontent creatorâ in the game.
Where might all these âcontent creatorsâ go to first to âtestâ out these changes? What is the attendance of PRR going to be like if it regularly gets dumpster because it canât see whatâs in local?
Of all the regions, Providence is going to experience most of the suffering from this change. Activity is going to go right back down to the levels of the PL/NC invasion.
Cheer if you must, though realise those that cheer with you number more your enemies than allies.
You may want to check that dude is a wormholer from a corp that I have fought against recentlyâŚand was in CVA (so glutton for punishment) sounds more to me like heâs walked the walk rather than playing farmville is space.
Burning Jita or disrupting any type of activity in HS (for example, ice harvesting interdiction and hulkageddon) is not against any rules - It is not griefing if they just blow up everything without prejudice. It has positive effect on economy and the game in the long run. What is there to ban for?
Why? Isnât it tradition for the bored and listless PvP focused groups to harass Providence and give themselves a confidence boost?
There will be a flood of hot droppers after this change goes live. They will only have themselves to blame when CCP changes that mechanic as a result.
Excellent proposed change, Null sec is so tedious and far too safe for bots and insta-warp ratting, will also solve the cloaky afk spam that alliances use on enemies, they will actually have to hunt them now which should create more content. +1
Nullsec - like wormholes but less profitable and harder to secure.
Null wonât be much kinder on your zKill than low-sec currently is. You might like to try your stratios fit out in a wormhole where the effect might give your armour tank a bonusâŚ
Null bear tears - best tears.
Whatâs the saying you guys use to empire dwellers? Adapt or die??
Well how do you like them apples?
The first step CCP have taken in null sec for ages and everyone is wanting to quit.
I, for one, cannot wait for this to happen
this all begs the question Why⌠overall if you want to supress rourq botsâŚetc why not the rouge drone death probeâŚflagship cruiserâŚtitan gunzâŚkeepstar DD and titan smartbomb nullified dosent show on dscanâŚit likes minerals and salvage only targets apparent bot miners/ratters in null sec.
why suppress the whole game population this wayâŚor is ccp bending over for csm again.
Yes, but I thought that my alliances best moment was when we destroyed PLâs AU TZ, and I thought that PHEW and HTP along with Waffles and co was a more challenging target for a military campaign, hell even Simple Farmers.
You read it like me, something that WH players donât seem to get or understand because they see K space with the same local as WH space as being the same but they really donât get how oppressive this cyno mechanism is and with so many bittervets being BLOPâs capable it ends up with a load of bored beittervets playing other games with cloaky eyes looking for prey so they can play Eve for a brief moment. All it does is drive away those that want to play.
Vince Draken in that podcast with the Mittani and Vily linked by Arrendis above pretty much spelt out what will happen.
The best thing that can happen is that CCP realises just how oppressive it is, and if they want to have no local then the cyno has to change in someway to make it less certain and less sure.
One thing is for certain at some point they will implement Observatory arrayâs, they have to, but by then the only small to medium sized entities left in nullsec will be those with the ability to make ISK outside of their nullsec space. I think many people coming back to have fun are going to find a serious lack of turkeys to shootâŚ
Or maybe theyâre going to team up and take down the major entities and absorb the players that can handle the new mechanics. If current Null canât handle the heat and run then new people will move in who can⌠I mean if the number of NSâers claiming theyâre going to flee to HS or LS is anywhere near proportional and not just empty threats like I think it is I might have to see if thereâs anyone else in wormholes willing to take some sov⌠Canât let drifters have all the fun.
But letâs face it 80% of these people will probably still be subbed a year from now and Iâll probably still be in wormholes, shooting at those who arenât afraid of a little risk.
Where did CCP say this was specifically targeting bots?
4061 posts ⌠Wait till local goes into blackout mode and these forums blowup in CCPâs face because docked up players have time to be here because they arenât out in space doing stuff, like playing the game LOL
the real test of this whole thing and the reason for itâŚi am waiting now to see if Urshrah"Khan crawls out of their lowsec holes.
this Only beniâs their old play style
and in fact i cannot think of anyone it benniâs more
I think the major blocks will be able to handle this rather well, they just have to get a bit more organised and focussed. What you are looking at as in coming back to lowsec or hisec are people in small and medium sized alliances who donât want to be part of the big blocks and of course indy players who think the risk is above what they feel comfortable with in terms of being able to take the level of loss as compared to the grind.
Those smaller entities would be better off doing their grind in lowsec and hisec and treat nullsec as a place for content, personally I would think setting up a honeypot nullsec operation would be rather amusing in terms of picking off noob BLOPâs players.
WH entities could take space, but I would expect you to do your ISK making in WHâs.
I too think that the majority of people will still be playing, they have to adapt and in some case down sizing and working within the limitations of other space will do what CCP wanted to do which is cut the excess out.
Groups that have an apex force in the AU-TZ can make significant headway, spamming structures that canât be beat by NA/EU zones, ensuring that more citadels of the enemy are in 2nd phase reinforcement when prime time comes along.
Yup, new players and smaller groups have a disadvantage on so many levels. Its like economics, people who have money, can make more money because they have more discretionary spending power. A bitter vet with several black ops battleships wonât care to loose a few now and then, while some poor schmuck in a retriever doesnât even have the ISK for insurance because the ROI for mining is just awful.
I hate Delve propaganda, but I have to admit those guys arenât dummies and didnât get to their positions without something on top of their shoulders.
Delve had the initiative to invest in industry and its foolish to think there will be too many groups who will match their XL structure count any time soon. If Observatories give back âlocalâ rights, youâll see Delve deployed them in large numbers well ahead of everyone else yet again.
No doubt they will complain about that next, despite it being exactly what they wanted.
what excess??? excuse me we should have by now more than 100 thousand players online , we were above 60-65 thousand until dominion slashed it in half in 2010.
what is this excess you speak of?
HAHAHA really? you know youâre asking to raise the dead right?
