It worked when EVE was still a gankfest, it will work when EVE is a gankfest again.

You don’t need no local to catch something using BLOPS. Have you ever been in a Goku/Stuka fleet? Anti-cap umbrella fleets… very few null blocks will drop caps/supers on a stuka fleet and hard engage.

There is always a meta vs meta in this game, maybe you’re currently using the wrong one.

This sums up my emotions at this moment.

Wants to gank krabs for free to the point he literally can’t do anything else.
Then he says he won’t miss the krabs when they all left because they aint his free content.
Calls other people names amidst severe self-contradiction and hypocrisy.
Yep, the ganktard is here. If only your skill could be noticed somewhere within that ego…

If the goal with this is to revitalize nullsec and increase player engagement, I fear this is going to have the opposite effect.

Players that think this is an amazing change because hunting carebears will be easier are in for a real surprise when those players either unsubscribe or stay docked or move their operations out of null. Because this will have next to no effect on fleet vs fleet engagements. Sorry, but this is simply not a well reasoned change.

Game gets hard, bad players quit. Good players adapt. Wont miss no-lifers who just grind isk and create weak content. Whenever anything changes that negatively effects bad players, salt will flow.

all writing that people wont be missing. you probably didnt play in 2013. when there was 60k playeers on servers. now barely 20k, with all alpha clones and bulshit. what is critical point when eve is gona fold, 10k? or less

i find we get dropped by super/titans and capital all the time in our stuka fleet it is part of the fun.

Lets be honest this is at this time a PR stunt by ccp, they don’t need the data of how null sec play(ers) will react with no local they have it with the new chat system this is only to really see if it will add or remove to there income.

If ccp finds it is good for them they will keep it, if they find it isn’t they will keep local.

and we all loved eve cuz it wasnt cash grabing game, now not so much…

People who think this is just for ganking PVE players are just knee jerk reacting without putting any real thought into it. PVPers hunt carebears exclusively now because there are no more roaming gangs. With all the PVPers undocking, we will have tons of small to medium gang action in surprising locations. Go ahead, unsub carebears, we will still get more fights.

All the cancer cells who are subbing for easy free safe kills are going to flow in. This is the cure that harms more than helps.

It doesn’t get hard, it gets easier. And when it gets easier to get free kills, all the risk-averse ganktards will resub, creating literally zero content for you. Yay?

Since the blackout announcement first came out, i have found myself logging in less and less, and being afk while logged in more and more. nothing has changed, so why is this?
Perhaps the feeling of having such a change foisted upon us is more important than the actual change. is it our sandbox or theirs? or both?
whatever the reason, the bubble is burst. i have always had a policy of “one game only” for myself and now i must consider carefully why this sandbox is no longer gripping me. is it a bit of termporary burnout? or time for a change?

How do you do this?

Getting dropped on is basically the aim of a stuka fleet. It’s to catch off the bad pilot who drifts from the group for an easy kill. The bigger you get dropped on the better your odds of a big kill.

It is all about increasing income streams. But as a player base we need to really look at how this is going to affect the ingame economy. We may have to start heavily relying on the high sec bears to create it if most of the nullsec krabs are driven away. This will mean that CCP could in turn make more money from PVPers buying plex to make isk because of the increase in price of everything in the game. We may go back to the start of T2 where a T2 BCU was sold on the forums for 80m!

Only speculation though. To be honest I can’t wait for more TiDifests because nullblocks will be more willing to commit.
