Everyone threatening to unsub because null is not as safe for crabbing… CCP gave you an alternative: highsec. Sounds like most of you would be better off there anyway.

It’s going to have to be agree to disagree, but claiming CCP plays their game and understands it is pretty naive. How often have we seen changes being implemented on SiSi and players explaining what exact awful thing would happen, only for CCP to be completed caught off guard when those events come true once it goes live.

Apples and Oranges. I’m talking about people, you are talking about game mechanics now.
I wonder how long it will take the CCP to analyze the profits from the subscription that they had before BO and what they have after BO.
Probably some people will give up the game (rentiers) because earnings in 0.0 will be a relative term for them …
So the CCP seems to be making a shot in the knee, because that way it will reduce its own income.
And BO gives us a lot of new options on PVP

I’ve been playing EVE for almost 15 years now. This is by far the stupidest change. How can you want to worsen the local, which is the most important element in zero ? Didn’t you learn from the last wave of cancellations ? Fact is, that in my Corp and also Ally, the fewest find this change good. We’ll see how long you’ll go through this crap when the abbonoments jump off you by the dozen.

I will trade you a local for YOU stop fitting a cyno to EVERY ship that you and your goon\null bloc buddies fly so that any fight between your 50 man fleet a couple rifters that might not be going the way you thought it would, get swatted when you light up a cyno and 50 goon\nc\whatever titans pour through.

My full support to take action on the unsatisfying Null situation. And my full support to CCP for admitting to test measures and be willing to adjust as needed. Great!
From living ca. 8 month in Null, I have memories about endless boring ADM rising actions in between rare fleet ops (which were at least interesting). But the blue areas were smaller in the past. It seems to have developed to the worse, meanwhile.
However, I´m empathic enough to understand peoples whish to have social contact in a ´relaxed´ environment; such as mining-ops in groups. There is nothing wrong with that. It would be a pitty, if the blackout dissolves those groups and destroyes their possibility to have contact with similar minded.
Maybe have total blackouts only constelation-wise (such as the always wandering incursions) with an adapted frequency. And in between those times have this no-appearance-in-local-as-long-as-the-gate-cloak-lasts mechanic.
Can this be a plan that satisfies a majority?

So even if true what you say this is different to the situation now how exactly? I figured you have not the slightest clue about PVP.
They never expected longform diplomatic agreements which is people, but this is game mechanics. They suspect removing X mechanic will cost them Y subscribers and gain Z subscribers. Do you thnk they long term pve in nullsec? They are not in need of plexing their accounts so they don’t grind that level of isk so all they would need are PVP ships. If they are in any of the major null blocs SRP we would basically make sure they always have a ship to fight in without spending any isk.
I’m just hoping if this is the introduction to Upwell “Observatory Structures” that they aren’t FLEX and can be used in NPC Null, otherwise those living there are going to get shortsticked.
