Yes I think they may have had a suspicion that some players would leave the game. I suspect that they will have undershot that mark in their predictions and far more people will either not log in or unsubscribe.

we don t need anymore concord police , or just in starter systeme where newbee can begin to learn the game mechanics. Perhaps some “safe” zone at the undock of regional capitale npc station…but no more

But we all know good and well that nobody will do this and there are plenty of people coming back to the game because of the blackout. I’m probably going to add 2 more accounts myself.

I disagree, they play the game.They know the great attachment people have for it. I believe they may have even overestimated the effect and have planned for it and hope that the benefits outweigh the costs. they are looking for new players. there’s an obvious trend to their actions on a route towards that.
My opinion is that this is possibly A route in that direction. shake things up see what falls out.
This will bring ASCN back to power along with Cyvok riding in Steve II…believe it!
