… what? How do you think PvPers afford all our ships? We all tend to have more industry alts than PvP characters. If you think some whiny bears unsubbing will somehow rob us of ships, modules and rigs, you’re kind of delusional. We probably do more industry than the pure bears altogether. I mean, most of my isk is legacy isk from a long career in Eve, but I’ve also got endless cans of fully researched BPOs and BPCs of every ship and most modules in all of Eve, and used to use all of them.

Null now has the same local as wormholes, everything else in nullsec is still the same.
All that has been lost is the instant whose in system display. Most alliances and corps never use it for chat as it allows others to listen in on corp/alliance chat.
As many have said delayed local, now allows players to sneak through systems, ninja mine, to courier runs, etc, with a lower chance of being detected and ganked.
If players fail to see this huge advantage and only focus on the PVP side of things, i sure as hell would be asking whose running their corp/alliance?
As any good CEO/leader should have already seen the benefits of the blackout, and laid plans to use it to their advantage.
As for these bitching players and those telling other to unsub, i an concerned about their corp/alliance leadership.
As all this negative posts goes back on the player’s Corp and alliance, these leaders should have stopped these, unless these leaders are telling members to do it, then that just shows the leadership is only interested in using their members for their own benefit. Which then brings up the question what sort of corp/alliance is it? Is it a benefit for EVE’s development or a nail in the coffin?
Posts screenshots of kills, doesn’t post what ship he was in or the fleet he was in either… Doubt you were running solo when you ran into said gate camp so please explain how that’s any different than before…

Here is a tip for every one who´s angry at this close down your web browser and quit bitching jump in to eve start learning how to use Dscan and eve map try to find away to use this black out to your advantage. Will help more than crying about it.
This starts to feel like when I played CoD modern warfare 2 and every one was bitching on me for using grande launcher well buhu it´s and effect tool to rack up kills with. So instead of bitching about it learn the best way to overcome and counter it. Like a sniper could easly get me becuse he has more range and get sit in a location maybe I don´t spot you well. But no instead people cry and throw insults around like that would help them.
As a predominantly null sec industrial player, my favorite part of this is the bit where a lot of the more… emotionally frail… industrialists decide to pack it in and stop competing with me. The idea that all “industrialists” are similarly aggrieved by this is laughable.

CCP has done something maybe the realized would happen , maybe they didn’t. But this expansion and blackout feature is divisive. You can see a real difference in ideology between those that like this change and those that don’t.
If trying to fracture your player base into several shards is your goal gj CCP. Players who had no prior bone to pick with you now feel like you and the rest of the community is ganging up on a 15 + game style because bots.
A lot of us would be part of the future of New Eden if there was any semblance of getting back to your roots. This direction may be fun or necessary or whatever for many but I just don’t have time in life to play the game as hard core as you’d “demand”.

High sec has Triglavian Invasion, Pirate FOB’s, Incursions, War Dec’s, C.O.D.E., PIRAT! I’ve been in 2 null sec alliances and was seriously disappointed both times. I go into Null now to make isk from time to time. Sometimes I strike up a conversation in local.
In case you are an idiot, have problems with reading comprehension, or completely do not understand the situation you’re in, let’s be specific:
The lack of local changes… not much for my safety: I would not be in space in pve ship with ganktards in the system before this, I would not be in space in pve ship with ganktards in the system during this, or after this, until pve ships can fight back.
What it does change, however, is how safe ganktarding has become. It was already almost devoid of skill and risk, now it is basically free. It is not pvp (the intent is to kill a ship that can’t fight back), and it generates no content whatsoever, as the main goal of a ganktard is to avoid any pvp.
That is why my accounts have been forced to alpha for the duration of this idiotism - because nullsec should be dangerous for all, and it’s been made safe to ganktards like it was never safe for me.
This community is so trivially agitated that virtually anything CCP does counts as “divisive” aside from the most minor of QOL changes, and even a few of those cause more than a little thrashing from certain types.
There are people who complain about the Odyssey scanning changes to this day.

Your isk per hour ratio will decline but you may accidentally have some fun. After all this is a game! You can have fun in high sec, you don’t need to collect pixels solely from null sec. High sec and low sec have pixels you can collect also.
