Keep crying Orca. I’m sure your RMT income will be safe to return to at some point.

TY for your post, people learned to adapt , so there are people not satisfied with the result, if you are not satisfied with your experience in the game as it is wait it out for further changes , take a break , or move on to a game that you can enjoy. CCP is in a bind that it cant make everyone happy , without most likely making someone mad.

Local chat could be considered a crutch by many.

With this concentration of deranged basement dwellers who are out to get you for having an opinion? Of course I’d hide behind a forum alt.

I’d say that heavily depends on a region. In Perrigen Falls, you have more than 300 systems across 6 regions that are within 8LY.

Yeah I agree and I think that is the core of the balancing act that CCP has to manage. Whether changes they make to the game end up being good or not, is for them to decide based on the outcome of their changes.

Some of us think that over the last 3-4 years they’ve headed too far in one direction and applaud this change, but that clearly isn’t everyone and so this change will also have some negative outcomes (eg. a different group of people deciding to take a break, while some choose to come back and others just continue to play as they did before).

No change is going to be great for everyone and CCP will never please the whole community at the same time, so the group that is happy and the group that isn’t just changes to a different subset of the community.

This thread has lead me to believe that looking at a chat window having other people look at a chat window and relying on NEAR2 blowing up whenever anything is in your galactic zipcode is actually the very height of risk, skill, and effort.

Please stop degrading people for having personal opinions.

Even with local chat, the krab was not safe from a ganktard - hundreds of krabs were caught each day, and it didn’t require much effort, or risk, or skill. Only when it became 100% safe, they rejoiced.
Without local chat, ganktard has the complete safety, which is bad, or so I’m being told.
I won’t even start that obviously local is more balanced than no local, because CCP has nerfed the living hell out of every defense mechanic with having local in mind.

In all fairness… I’m a ganktard… and i killed a few people already… because i cant go ratting.

I’m only at odds with WRONG opinions.

I had an alliance leader using that, we weren’t in the alliance much longer after that for separate reasons. I was super sleezed out by the thought of that existing. He had a discord post on how to set it up and using your alts to spy, sickening.

Love this! Both Invasions are brilliant. AIs can flex and be improved. But I love that it will cleanse out structures of inactive players. And for all those PvPers whiling about having PvE foreced upon them!? What do PvPers think they are doing when they attack/hunt PvEers!? A little hypocritical, don’t you think? So, unwad your panties, and deal with it, just like we do. =D Thanks, CCP. I’ll be spending more money shortly.

Anyone can be a ganktard in a blackout. In fact, anyone can be a ganktard even without blackout, except the bottom of the barrel who can’t take even 1% of risk.

The amount of salt it generates makes it worth it. Hell, I didn’t even use it or knew about it until last autumn.

Because wormholes, login traps, and downtime tricks did not exist…
Just because you’re terrible at your game doesn’t mean everyone else is, krabs were caught each day in hundreds, and you won’t believe how easy it becomes with just a few more brain cells than two.

Remove asset safety from low power structures. Then we’ll see a cleansing.

Like local?

see above, already answered on that one.

Oh yes, definitely—tactics revolving around server downtime and logging off are, without a doubt, gameplay par excellence.

Hard to imagine why anyone might think that paradigm could use some shifting.
