Any change that restricts the ridiculus metagaming of EVE is more than welcome.
When two accounts from the same IP is banned, the game will become a true game and not a full time job.
But i’ll admit that CCP must balance that too. They are a company not a “utility corp”. They must make some money and “us” who play from … forever must pay in some way, too.
The genre is almost dead. If we make a survey, our player base may have a 35+ yo average, which says much. Speculation, maybe but propably true.
So stop critisizing a “scientist” dev, without you have any serious proofs and just enjoy a bit of gaming, without to think that your life depent on it.

Yep hit the nail on the head, Player of eve since 2004 been and done most things, thought id gone past the kids as both mine are grown up, but we had a shock 2yrs ago when my daughter came along and of course both me and the wife work full time and juggle a little one. so very little time for eve.
I ended up dropping from 5 accounts to just 1 within the first year and a month ago I decided I was having a little more time to play and decided to bring an alt back. I have just dropped the alt again as due to the blackout and wont bother running missions in null and my primary interest was relic sites, which im betting will be perma camped by bombers with a super or BO on the otherside…
Null has lots of camped relics as it is, at least local gave you an inkling that some tird could be camping it 24/7 now nothing.
Im now living in jita moon 4 and doing station trading to earn isk, happy shooting
It may not be great for you miners and nubs and bots (and anyone who wants to play in dangerous space afk)
BUT
It is good for the game, ive seen more movement and camps in the past few days than i have in the past two years.
The staticness of the content in null, the ease of which people can stay in one system and make $$$$ is bad, there needs to be movement; movement causes issues, friction, destruction.
12 semi afk characters in the same system for months on end does not.
As for newbros well they will adjust or die; much like we all did when we started - and lets be honest here folks;

go to high security space, with the wardec changes one cannot complain about being decked anymore.

It doesn’t matter if you love the change or hate it. Get in an interceptor and fly around. Nobody is mining or ratting in Null . The carebears have docked up and quit playing, and if player’s aren’t playing they will stop paying. CCCP is barely paying its bills as is. So if and its a big IF those who have quit till local comes back quit permanently the game will go bankrupt.
Love it or hate it a game is a business no profit no game. And keep in mind they aren’t threatening to quit they have already quit. look for yourself.
i saw a whole fleet of procurers in cloud ring, with support (maybe 10 to 15)
and a bunch of rorqs in delve; also encountered a couple of small gatecamps there (faought a retri at one) and in stain; catch though - ugh, brave nothing; probably didnt have 40 or 50 guys to blob me wit in my raptor.
a 4 man domi gang in syndi and a 3 or 4 man cane gang AND a 4 or 5 mixed ivy gang…
I know others that were active in the area but staying hidden.
OH and a [BUMS] gang…
No kills yet but only been in my raptor looking around, couple of minor skirmishes or me just running
Not saying all people have quit but out hunting and many have quit. At least in paragon soul and delve. Earlier we got 4 excavator drones with bombers so some are playing but without any statistics or math these zones feel empty compared to last weekend

For many people Delve is too tough even with the local chat i guess, i like it but i dont want to live there making goons perma targets - rest of eve should man up and get out in space tbvh.
