One of the miners from our neighbours decided to undock 2 Hulks, which already makes it sound like a darwin award story… but he didn’t even get to fire a mining laser, TWO curses were already hanging out in the belt at 0. But that’s not the end, as they were chewing hulks, a third party kikimora fleet lands on them. Curses were ganktards, so they chose to not pvp and didn’t even target the kikimoras or attempted to escape - their sole interest was downing tackled hulks, which they did, before dying. Makes you wonder who’s worse, botlike ganktards, or morons who undock hulks during blackout.
Our newbies asked us what makes ganktarding so OP. Vets took all 3 of them to Delve and 30 minutes later absolute beginners who barely trained into stealth bombers had a VNI kill, proving how ridiculously easy, stupid, risk-free, effort-free, and skill-free ganktarding is, even when your fleet is lacking in skills, numbers, and effort, it is still able to bag an easy kill on pve ship. Honestly, CCP, going through with blackout without addressing the most basic balance issue with it was why people didn’t log in this sunday.
Overall, we can see that nothing in the whole decade was as bad of a change as a blackout - not even bugs and issues, not even monocles, could lose so much online.

Agreed nothing is risk free, anything could be bait and random co-incidence happen all the time too, the bait target will probably die but its what he can take with him.
The biggest killers this event are groups with bait VNI’s so far.
This happened exactly because they did not run when kikimoras landed, which they were perfectly capable of, making it 100% risk-free. But they wanted a free kill more than they wanted their Curse, it seems. In other words, they died because ganktards are very very stupid. Literally needed 5% more IQ (2) and they would’ve lived.
So the only risk is… if someone mans the bait 23/7, or a chain of coincidence happens, and neither guarantees the ganktard dies, just fails the gank and can try again, as much times as his below-40-IQ brain needs to get the imbecile-proof thing done right?
Yip, about as little risk as a nullsec gate camp with caps on stand by, the only ones with lots of risk now aday’s are the solo pvpers without cloakies: retri’s and so on, and the guys who are trying to make isk.
I in no way support cloaky ganktard’s (5-10 people in cloakies) in any way its cowardly form of pvp without skill.

Still almost zero risk. Retri needs a massive and thought out camp to be caught, and nigh uncatchable in ganktard-and-run scenario.
Personally I’d advise against even trying.

You do realize I have no idea who us is right as your using a forum alt, I can’t imagine someone dropping a titan on a goon gate camp that would be stupid xD.
Obviously its different for smaller alliances that live next to massive enemy coalitions.
Nah there were caps and super caps when I started. The reason I survived was that I came with two toons one that was angel trained all gallente and matar when the alliance flying podla drakes and a panic geddons…and one that was PRAISE BOB a level V logi pilot.
I was 20mil SP and had been flying tackle in low sec for a year at that point.
I have cancelled both my accounts that I have never plexed. Now that mining has become too risky in null, what was once an enjoyable experience is no longer.
I will not be logging on my tunes until local is back. So letting my accounts stale out.

Проверить активную часть игроков? Кто отреагирует на изменения сильнее всего? Может это снизит нагрузку и бои станут более динамичными, а не с бешеной задержкой?
В любом случае на данный момент мои активность в игре упала почти до нуля.
Я оплачивал аккаунт на год вперед, и знай я что будет такое, этого не делал бы.
Что делать в игре мне как любителю только пве стороны игры? Из того что я планировал в случае отсутствия локального чата в null sec , в том виде что он был ДО, ничего!!!
Хватает и других событий в игре из-за чего игра теряет позиции, но приравнивать нули к ВХ…

I have a farm in 3 windows in null sec, as usual, that with the local, that without it, nothing has changed for me, it’s even better that there are no bots next to me.

I have been grrrr gons throughout my entire posting history, and I still am. I was never blue to goons once in my life, and except N3 times, not to PL.
Currently I am in a small alliance occupying a shitty -0.2 constellation without a single decent dead end in it, trying to build up capital force.
Needless to say, blocs use us for target practice every so often. I didn’t even do any pve on sundays because it’s red fleet after red fleet (which is what made me puke on the guy who said he had no reds on intel because there weren’t any… how is that even possible eh?) and you’re stuck in permanent response mode for people who think you owe them content whenever they decide to show up.
Every time we field caps against anyone but wormchickens, there was a risk of super fleet landing. We lost our full capital force last year when defending a timer to PL super drop, and you didn’t see me being grumpy about that, because that’s nullsec, I know where I live and what game I play.
What I can’t take about this change is the way it shafts everything I’ve been doing. You can’t build up cap force when there’s a ganktard after every barge, and you can’t use rorqs freely when there are blocs looking for easy content in the area. And there’s a ganktard after every barge because of how safe and easy ganktarding has been made.
Now I either have to go to bloc space, sell all barges and get into rorqs, and go full spodbrain, or try to hold sov in rifters? What’s the options of a guy like me now, huh?
I know this may sound strange but I feel even if local came back your group would probably do better in a wormhole, have a few friends that have tried it and are loving it.
I’ve been in a similar position with a massive alliance shitting on us and its not worth it mate.
Joining a spod brain drop 100 titans on every problem alliance is aid’s and trying to defend against them is just as much aids.
I’m super tempted to convince my corpies into getting into wormholes but atm lots of action in low sec so it can wait a bit.
