Love the change, should add one more layer to it (as in Albion) - if there’s a group over say 30 pilots, it should show. This way you can get the good points going: lack of complete safety, easy content and still make it rather obvious if there are 5x200 man fleets coming in to do ‘bad stuff’

The pandering to carebear strategy has definitively failed. Eve has never been safer, nor less interesting.
Eve needs a shakeup.
Is this the final solution? Probably not, but good on CCP for being bold and trying this out. This experiment will provide data and facilitate the next step.
Let the carebears rage and scream and stamp their feet. They will not really be missed despite their protestations. Let’s hope this is indeed the first start to a better, and more balanced competitive game.

If there was a way to detect number of ships in warp, that would provide a interesting difference to wormholes. Also if there could be a device that can be placed that provides a auto updated Dscan like readout within 5AU. perhaps integrated into the local chat window somehow.
Overall allowing players to fight back with technology rather than removing game play.

If carebear leave (first remimber care bear have right to play, and second remimebr people you call carebear particpate more to the game than a lot of “pvp player” by be content).
Less carebear =>less content to kill=>less pvp player to hunter they=>less pvp playeer to kill other ppv player=>less player=>less content.
If you can’t see the problem, maybe you need to remimber this post in 2 month, and quote me when you will realise how eve will suck with less player.

balance and competitive by removing free intel… like dotlan and npc killed per 24 hours and industry indexes? I agree. Remove them and make it competitive.

Where you see a problem, I see a great outcome. Fewer people, but higher percentage of people willing to fight. That means less chasing carebears that just dock up and more running into people that want to fight.
That’s a win.
Nullsec is already to safe, because carebears don’t want to fight. This change is great. Sux to be you I guess.

No! I can’t! not in the over 5 years ive been in eve have I ever been able to do that.
I’m happy about this. It’s finally a chance for the “delete local” crowd to see 1st had that not only will it not work, but it will serve to enrich the already strongest groups in the game.
You can tell people something is stupid all day long. But showing them is the only thing that stands half a chance.

I’d argue a bug is different. Some people may have chosen to dock up during a bug since they didn’t want to fall prey to it. The same mechanic as a feature might have a different social following, especially if it’s expected to be the new normal rather than something you can weather by waiting a few hours.
I don’t cry i explain you with actual fact what will happen. And yes you do’nt like it beacauqse ti’s against what youa re thinking. This change will work for 2 month, after you will have less pvp action than now , and you will cry.
