the no local thing just makes it like RL… you can’t see them till they can see you without dscan. scouts on gates might break it a bit. I do believe it will hurt the little guys out there, but there are no fair fights in NS anyway.
INB4 observatories give null blocs ACL driven true intel networks. All these “hunters” will be crying and unsubbing.
All in all, i think this is a great change for the long term. I hope the info network structures dont end up being too hard to kill. either way. This is the shake up the loud minority has been calling for. So lets see how it shakes out.

I agree with you in terms of eve having become way WAY less interesting and also safer then it was many years ago.
But I’m not convinced it has anything to do with the availability of local. After all those glorious days of eve that we old vets remember where with an active local. Local was there since the beginning of EvE. I would even go as far as saying removing warp to 0 and denying any bookmarking around gates and stations would probably generate more pvp than removing local and making all pvers to become super conservative while increasing the chances that roaming gangs will miss each other.
But we will see how this change works out. For now, everyone with a stock of recons has already won.

Un-subbing all 6 of mine. I am all for changing the game within the limits of the lore but you all have gone off your rocker. At this rate, it is safer to live in a wormhole then null. But, that’s CCP they are there own worst enemies.
Just like after the Dev was caught seeding T-2 BPOs to BOB you still, after all, this time do not listen to the majority of your players.
Perhaps you should do something about people camping systems 24/ 7 with no recourse. Was fun while it lasted, July 26th 2003 was my first day in Eve, today is my last. Thanx for the win.
