It is so, cliche to say: ââ you wonât be missed ââ and ââcan I have your stuffââ when someone decides to stop playing this game.
In fact, the more players that quit⌠the more potential PVP content is lost.
Carebears are needed⌠most of them mine, and those minerals become the stuff that others pvp in. Just because you think you are a hardcore PVP god, doesnât make your way of playing the game, ââThe only right wayââ to play it. EvE has loads of opportunities, and actually most of them are not PVP related at all. Eve is at the end of the day, a ââgrinding gameââ, weather you see it that way or not. The majority of eve players are grinders, doing dungeons (sites) and mining or doing other PVE/Industry activities, and PVP is just another option of gameplay.
I donât understand why there are so many comments, where people bitch about some one else leaving, because of a change in the game.
This is not something new, it is a normal tendency in EVE. At the end of the day, it is their choice, so no salt is really needed, since it will definitely not make them reconsider and stay.
Hence whoever is bitching about others leaving, are actually not helping retain the player base, and they donât seem to care very much about that, and it would seem, they donât care about the game then. No players = No EVE.
Lets try build a bigger player base please, it will be good for the game, and good for all of us, who enjoy EVE, even though it is a ââgame in progressââ which it has been since the start.
It is all ways easy, to be the disrespectful guy, when your hiding behind your computer screen. Just remember there is a person behind every comment, and disrespecting is not going to accomplish anything.
Even CCP have seen a lot of people quitting because of the ââBlackoutââ and other changes/nerfs they have made, and it is so obvious, that the new offer of 3 month MCT is a gimmick to try and retain those players.
Otherwise the timing is just absolutely horrible, and not great for EVEs image.
