Local should be delayed

Agreed, and that’s interesting.

Cause most of ppl gone are afk camping alts xD. it’s a deterrent, tou don’t see much observatories because they don’t even try to afk camp because they know observatories can be deployed. Afk camping won’t be missed . I do think if a guy want to permacamp our pocket with 5 toons it’s valid and not op as he will need to be at KB just like me, and observatories won’t affect him at all.

That’s a nice opinion you got there.

So what?

So you have no real way of knowing most of the people that left are AFK camping alts.

Why so scared of losing local

So? you are the one crying for changes not me. what, 5 threads now? adapt to local, it won’t be gone, move on and stop crying.

LOL a suggestion is far from crying.

And le sigh, this has already been explained to you. We don’t have to adapt. Local is the norm.

Honestly, I’ll put aside the snark to let you know this. The fact that you don’t understand this relatively simple concept is concerning :frowning:

I’ve been adapted since 06

What’s interesting is local there or not can be used to both the Krabs and the hunter.

For example, with local the Krabs can tune their bots to cower in the citadel the second a hostile appears, before the hostile can even load the system on their end. But on the hunter side local lets the hunter know both if a Krab is in system and the number of friendlies they have to estimate the response.

Without local the Krab’s bots may need to be adjusted to use dscan or imagine a krab might actually have to pay attention or watch gate activity with eyes. But the hunter also comes into system not knowing what is there either and has to actively look for targets rather than blowing though empty systems knowing they are empty. The hunter can’t gauge the potential response as easy either.

This means that for Krabs that are actually paying attention, at the keyboard, and using even a low amount of strategy, removing local actually makes them harder to hunt.

But bots are people too apparently (at least they consume Plex so they are paying customers) so we get trash in the game that makes local even more powerful like the observatory rather than fixing the problem. Local is bad but so is having to decloak to prove you aren’t afk. The observatory ruins not only afk play (the only counter that was available to local’s infallible free Intel) but legitimate at the keyboard play as well. The good news (I guess) is that if you made them drop an observatory then they lost the cost of it, a small consolation prize.

Done , you answered yourself xD

Actually not, cause there’s cheap covops ships to tackle , so if that’s the case ppl won’t drop a 500m fit to rat if he can do almost the same in instanced activities in HS with 0 risk.

Observatory has nothing to do with local, and they affect only AFK players, not active ones.

Yep. It goes both ways.

Its ok, Sarifa is a career miner so I don’t think she got alot of actual PvP experience

Yeah I boost for corpmates now and then, i explore, haul, and fight too. also collect frustrated players tears like you xD. Stop crying on forums for changes and attack people, go fix your life.

Mm I doubt the fighting very much.

If you PvPed at all, you’d know this isn’t tears

According to zkillboard i had more fights than you for this whole year so far.. and I’m a miner according to you! what a great warrior you are. Stop mocking people and make assumptions, the guy in the other thread just made a honest question as a new player and yet you agress him. What miner broke your heart huh? Why so much hate?

Did I say I was a warrior? I said its clear you don’t PvP

Would you care to elaborate? I post in a lot of threads

I think you’re getting me confused with you

yeah, right, done with you, get your ■■■■ together bye

Oh? But its already together ROFL

I’m a miner/scout that’s been playing on and off since 2006 on various characters and haven’t got a single kill to my name. Plenty of splatted barges though.

Blackout was horrible, any change to real time local is horrible and I dislike WH space because of it. Not because of safety or intelligence but because if you remove the ability to ■■■■ talk in local you lose too much of the MMO aspect of the game.

How many bad days have made good by smack talk, nice talk, crazy meltdowns because someone lost a ratting ship to gankers?

I mean I agree with you but I’ve found people barely talk in local anymore.

Its sad :frowning:

They can’t talk in local if they are afk.

True. Its sad man.

It was great to see local chat thriving. The one thing I do enjoy about NW is global chat.

Although a channel with everyone in EVE it would be madness LOL.
