This is all well and good, however for the rewards you are talking about, CCP requires you do more than just pay them money. They want you to actually log in to earn the extra gifts they give us. You already have everything a standard Omega gives you, the log in rewards are extra incentives to have players log in to their game. You are not entitled to these extra rewards, unless you do the minimal act of logging in.
CCP does not require you log in and âearnâ them. You donât have to log in at all. Weâve been over this.
Omegas are entitled. They paid for them. Yes, they did.
me paying for the game in 2025 vs me paying for the game in 2015 is the same.. no difference..
Do you even play EVE?
Except they doâŚdenying reality is not a way to argue. You donât just magically get log in rewards, you have to actually log in. Otherwise you would not have even made this thread.
I guess the whole affair has become PVP nowâŚi am collecting all the goodies for each and every single one of those 34 days while the OP canât. Everytime i click on âclaimâ, i am broadly grinning due to remembering the behavior of certain people in this threadâŚ
You can claim them from the character select screen. No log in required. Do you even EvE?
You donât have to do anything in-game to âearnâ them like dailies or the event track. âDaily Login Campaignâ is what we call a misnomer. Try to keep up.
Why canât I collect them?
While I appreciate that I get to live rent free in your head, I am perfectly capable of collecting the Daily Login Campaign rewards. And it really ends at 26 days with a healthy 8 day buffer. You know, like one of the suggestions I made regarding Novemberâs DLC.
I applaud you with slow clapsâŚmy brain hurts and i canât continue to be dragged to your âlogicâ levelâŚ
So in the end i donât know why you canât collect them without logging in while you insist that you have enough âentitlementâ to fetch them without even logging inâŚbecause you âpaidâ for themâŚto require no loginâŚor however you turn it in the next few posts on this nonsense threadâŚ
Why the fu¢k is this thread still open?
Itâs 2026 already.
You can get to your character select screen without logging in? I would report that to CCP⌠In normal land, you have to log in before getting to the character select screen (or bypassing it depending on your preferences). Logging in does not mean your character spawning in game, it means putting in your Login credentials (account/password).
Nope, us people who live in reality need to actually login to get the login rewards. (Again login does not mean character spawn in).
I wouldnât be surprised if it went on till 2027, honestly.
Yes. And so can you and everyone else. Are you arguing that if you have multiple alpha account character select screens open you are logged into multiple alpha accounts simultaneously? Yeah, maybe you should report that if thatâs what you believe. Bug team should get a good laugh.
I guess youâll just ignore that fact that if you try to LOGIN with an alpha account while being actually logged in with another account a big message pops up saying âYou are unable to login with this accountâŚâ. Oh, but I thought you were already logged in just by seeing the character select?
Username/Password credentials being accepted does not constitute a login according to CCP. Spawning in game does.
Again, you are just making up your own reality.
Pretty sure the act of logging in is what CCP means by Daily Login.

Itâs called business.
In business, no one gives a sh!t how many people provide you log-in credentials, but how many people load and use your product. When CCP says only spawning into the game counts as a log-in, it is for these metrics.
However, most people not in business or marketing donât know this, so businesses dumb things down so they donât confuse the simple minded of their customers.
The Oxford Dictionary is going to give you general usage of the word, not what it means when used as professional jargon.
This just isnât the case though, you donât need to spawn into the game to get the reward.

Yes, and?
The two arenât mutually exclusive. You can both get the daily reward and not be counted on the metrics. This isnât rocket science, itâs business, itâs not that complicated. No one in marketing is smart enough to understand the sh!t they peddle, but they understand this just fine.
The discussion isnât about online metrics. You can login without being online. Just like you can login to your account on this website, but not be online in EVE.
No, youâre not. You can see in the screenshot below that log-in means entering the game world according to CCP. It says right there in clear English, âYOU ARE UNABLE TO LOGINâŚâ, meaning you are NOT already logged in just by being at the character select.
See? You can NOT log in as an alpha if you already have a character actually logged in. Open your eyes this time and read for yourself. Opening the launcher is NOT logging in according to CCP. If it was, this message would make no sense. If you open 12 alpha accountsâ character select screens you arenât logged in with 12 alpha accounts. And you know this. Youâre just too stubborn and prideful to admit what everyone (including you) sees to be true. Your fragile ego has been hurt.
But by all means go ahead and argue that I can log in to an indefinite number of alpha accounts at the same time. Open a ticket, report the issue and post the correspondence. We could all use a good laugh. How far are you willing to embarrass yourself further to not admit the obvious fact that you are wrong?
How old are you? Two years old? This is the kind of absurd denialism weâd expect from a toddler caught red-handed with their hands in the cookie jar. That is what you should be embarrassed about. Not being wrong about what constitutes logging in. An adult can accept when they are wrong, learn from their mistake and continue on as a more knowledgeable person.
To put some gasoline into this discussion, please note the messaging and processing that appears directly before the character selection screen loads and from which i can claim dailies without loading a character:
I guess we would be talking about two different login definitions if we would talk correctlyâŚnow please continue with your toddler and cookie jar comparisonsâŚ
The only definition Iâm talking about is logging into the game. Malak Starfire has already put this definition forward. So youâve added no new fuel. You just regurgitated what he already said. Giving credentials to access the server and actually logging into the game itself are two different things. Just like logging into the EVE website is its own thing. The point being that, in CCPâs jargon, logging in refers to entering the game itself and spawning in the game world. This is what CCP considers âengagementâ and what counts towards their login metrics, which is what originally brought up this line of discussion (see post #âs 59 and 72 by Gerard Amatin). Malak then comes in at post #81 reiterating the idea that CCP uses the Daily Log-in rewards as, âincentives to have players log in to their game.â But the issue remains: You do not have to log into the game. CCP gets no engagement, it doesnât improve player number metrics. So again, when CCP talks about logging in they are referring to spawning in the game world. They get nothing out of you opening a character select screen.
The only way around this is to argue that opening multiple alpha account character select screens constitutes logging in with multiple alpha accounts simultaneously. In which case, you and Malak should open bug reports. But as you can see in the screenshot I provided, it is a violation of the Alpha State Clone Login restriction to be logged in at the same time as any other account. And as you can also see I could not login because I was already actually logged in with another account (i.e. into the game). Ergo, logging into the game is its own distinct act, separate from providing credentials to the server.
