I have LP from several Corporations that I will never accumulate enough to convert into something worthwhile.

That sounds like poor planning on your part, not a good motivation for a change in game design.

I agree that the whole LP system is a little clunky, but it’s supposed to be clunky in order to avoid being just another form of ISK injection into the economy.

LP stores are an ISK sink, not an ISK faucet.

I agree.

Check the bolded part. My point was that the LP system is the way that it is so that it doesn’t inject more ISK directly into the economy.

If loyalty points became a liquid asset like ISK (i.e. you could use them interchangeably between LP stores) they would just become a secondary currency which New Eden really doesn’t need, and LP rewards for missions and such would just become a currency faucet.

I think we’re on the same page here…
