How long have you been using your carrier to farm? @Ag3nt_Jita?
Something like 5-6 months but i dont use it that much, once or twice a week
edit: well if i think about it more, it might be more than 5-6 months but sorry, cant remember an exact number
2-3 hours each time?
2-3 sites each time, too boring
How is it relevant?
So about an hour?
Circa half a hour
So youāve farmed about 20 hours in your carrier with 2 times coming close to losing it. How often have you had to warp out due to someone either showing up in local or in an Intel-channel?
Are you calculating that time too what we spend keeping our systems safe?
Just proving the point how unlikely it is to catch a PVE carrier in null unless they make a mistake.
Then ask other 1000 carrier pilots, preferably thoose who have at least 5 years of active experience instead of asking a single one who uses his carrier not too often.
Edit: The real problem is that people whine about PVE ships docking up when they are not ready to fight and you want to kill them, but why dont you guys come here and whine when you encouncer a much larger/stronger fleet that can actually shoot back? You run away, just like the pve bros.
One is players doing something the others is Dev Fiat. If you canāt see a difference from this, then that is your problem.
Given your premise is deeply flawed the rest of your post is logically suspect.
I have nothing against people docking their ships when a danger shows up. What I donāt like is people trying to change the game-mechanics to suit them when they already have the advantage.
Defenders of afk cloaking want to change the mechanics for easy kills just as much as pve players want to remove afk cloaking for more safety
Here is an ideaā¦local is too good such that it lets players NOT interact. Local lets people not interact in a substantial way. Running and docking and then going AFK while in station is not really interacting except in the most trivial and boring sense.
I want to change the mechanics of intel. It could be an interesting discussion. Nobody wants to have it really.
But map data stays right? Wouldnt be too far
No we donāt. We complain about PvE ships being able to dock up with nearly guaranteed success. The problem is not that a smart and alert player can avoid giving me the killmail that Iām entitled to, itās that PvE farmers can farm at maximum ISK/hour with essentially zero risk of loss and people still whine that it isnāt safe enough. Having local isnāt enough, we need to remove AFK cloaking so that local becomes 100% effective and farming efficiency is maximized.
Defenders of afk cloaking want to change the mechanics for easy kills just as much as pve players want to remove afk cloaking for more safety
No, defenders of AFK cloaking want to keep the mechanics as-is.
I would believe it if the person who said this was not you. You complain here and actually lie(you were arguing against ratterās safety because they earn billions of isk per hour without risk, multiple times, which is totally false) most probably you are either jealous, or simply bad at catching even carebears, but tomorrow this changes. We will teach you some tricks bro so you can become a better cepi pilot.
The absurdity of this argument is that the people who want to nerf cloaks to get rid of AFK-cloaking, even though they already have the advantage as far as the game mechanics go. Those who defend AFK-cloaking or cloaks in general would be mostly happy with the current mechanics, but feel like the mechanics do favour the PVE-side too much and would like to do changes to it if possible.
CCPās stance: Working as intended.
Yet, the fight goes on.
I am not sure what you mean here?
