Boo hoo. Multiboxing needs to be nerfed and limited period

Good point. Myrmydon should get a sentry drone nerf also.

Yeah that shows your true intentions. You don’t love the game, you abuse it. Massmultiboxing needs to be completely nerfed and every massmultiboxer leaving it is a step towards a more healthy game environment. And that is desperately needed to attract and hold more players in the long run.

Pretty much. A 213 member massmultiboxing corp.

Agreed.

I just think CCP makes the wrong nerf when they hit the Eos.

Instead they should delete drone assist.

No other weapon system in EVE allows a single pilot to fire the weapons of the fleet.

Drone assist is a crutch for multiboxers, delete it.

Idea 1 is terrible. May as well just say no one can be a drone bunny until they buy a handful of skill injectors.

Idea 2 sounds better, use a secondary bandwidth number for how many drones something can have assisted. Smaller faster locking ships have a lower threshold than bigger slower locking stuff, and cap it below 25.

And ■■■■ multiboxers and their fleets of hulks / stormbringers / whatever but ccp wont because all they care about is the numbers. They would be happy if it was 2 actual people with 10000 accounts each

So hyped for this, cannot wait for the patch notes and news articles. Been so long since Eve pushed some genuinely exciting changes rather than focusing on nerfs. Feels like a real change in direction.

Hopefully supercap BPOs will be back to being mineral based or maybe mineral / moon / ice based so we can spin up supercap escalations again. Get those explo parts and PI holding us back out of those BPOs!!!

Because it was an utter garbage change. You could not even press F to engage the drones on a target. You had to shoot it with something and then switch your weapon DPS to your originally intended target. This was a massive convenience nerf to all non-drone ships, where you use the drones as auxiliary dps to gun down some small stuff while your weapons take care of bigger targets.

The change in itself was fine and could have worked if it was only applied to drone boats. They needed the nerf, but CCP killed all drone utility for all ships with this change. This was not acceptable.

Hey there,

Thanks for your feedback, always appreciate a take even if it’s a bit spicy :fire:

The sentry Eos in particular was overshadowing its peers more that we were comfortable with. This type of change has proven successful before, like when we made similar adjustments to the Ishtar, and we’d like to try it with the Eos. It doesn’t completely neuter the ship, but splitting out the bonuses does allow us to make changes between the different drone types.

Hope that explanation added some clarity! The Eos will still be good, there will just need to be some tradeoffs to get the same damage/tracking as before. We’re confident skilled pilots like yourself will quickly bounce back and find fresh ways to thrive.

Thanks for embedding the videos! much easier to watch that way since instagram doesn’t work on mobile without the app and an account.

Any chance you can elaborate on what simplifying the warp speed changes will entail? It’s a tad vague… And does this mean Marauders will get their +0.5 AU/s warp speed back now?

that what i am asking for, that ccp start to follow their own rule

The QoL improvements always generate huge player goodwill, thanks for those!

When I saw something about manufacturing changes, I was hoping we would see an adjustment to research costs. CCP, please?

because they are voted in by big blocks and do nothing for the player base as a whole

sooo…

Shared containers with access list between accounts…when?

It’s a democratic vote, if people can’t get enough votes, it’s because they don’t represent what people want.

They just announced some new PI and Fleet QoL changes.

It’s going to be interesting to see the comparison between the amount of accounts that used Eos on a daily basis before 12th March and those after the patch. We’ll see who is right.
