[March 12 Major Update] Dev Chats!

Oh now they do this! I’ve already purchased the CPU rigs and implants! I just need to plug them in after work when I get back to my PC.

I believe that if CCP Rattati had stayed in the same position he would have found another way to screw up this game even more, luckily they put him in a position where it doesn’t matter what he does because the game is dead anyway. CCP Okami seems determined and responsible and is able to listen to players unlike him.

Welcome to the nerf club…

That will not be coming out in the 12 March update, more info soon!

Pochven filament spool-up timer to give hunters a chance?

Awesome!

I’ve been asking for that exact change for ages.

It’s still going to be a mostly safe way to get out of sticky situations and to travel through Pochven, but no longer 100% safe.

Pochven players with combat probes might be able to catch some haulers now who take the Pochven express to HS.

Step into the right direction, now they have to realize that Cynos are the far bigger problem because it constantly allows to curbstomp people out of the blue and just add a SpoolUp before Cynojumps as well -_-.

And that’s all the ‘I hope your game dies’ multi-boxer is crying about: Having to shoot 50% more rounds down range to get the same results.

Such a tragedy. EvE is indeed died due to this, no?

If this makes multi-boxers in WH space stop doing this I will indeed laugh, I’ve lived in WH space and people doing this has been a consistent issue for years. The issue isn’t that 20 people can pull this tactic off, that’s intended. It’s that one person can do it with 20 characters and be rewarded this greatly for it.

@CCP_Swift You have discontinued your smartphone app for EVE Online (EVE Portal), but now you distribute your dev blogs and news in formats for smartphones…

Next time, could you please just create a ‘normal’ dev blog again and do without YouTube shorts for videos?

Thank you.

These are not dev blogs, they are more like teasers, and also they ARE on the forums.

Now they are after folks called them out for it.

They’ve always been on the forums…the people calling them out on the very thread CCP themselves put up are very obtuse and are whining just to whine imo.

Yes the videos were later imbedded for it was pointed out that people on mobile couldn’t watch, which is fair. But on normal PC/MAC you could watch just fine without having an account, which btw we all have.

Fancy changes for the Ansis. Now they just need to remove all structures on gate grids and move them away to an off-grid position.

Most Ansis have a Citadel “attached” to it, ie. placed close by as safe ping spot. Moving just the Ansis away from the gate grids without moving the Citadel with it, will create a load of frustration. Just do a proper job and fix this projection issue altogether by moving all structures away from gates in one fell swoop and don’t allow grandfathering in of Ansis in extremely valuable positions.

Once again I am convinced that Eve Online has a terribly conservative community. developers want to promote their social networks and give us spoilers for the patch, the community whines that they are doing it wrong. the platform is not the right one for them.
You all have a goddamn smartphone in your hands. most people spend their time with shorts, reels and other tiktok`s. but ppl can only scream “REEEEEE the developer did something different than we’re used to”

Thanks to the CCP community team. Keep it up. I like the format of this presentation.

Why dont you turn HICs into portable cyno jammers instead?
So we can have small skirmishes without the constant threat of a blob.

lmfao…

I mean, if they would remove the Cyno Ability from Recons and T3s in return, so ppl can’t hide their magic teleporter curbstomp generator any more it would actually be a good change.

But yes, HICs are Interdictors, they should get a module to suppress Cynos, not light them.

EH the issue before Cynos were limited to certain hulls was the cost of the ship most people used to light cynos. See a reaper? Could be a cyno, and was super cheap to replace. Or the reverse, of a cap being the hard cyno and hard to kill quickly. I’m fine with any ship that is the cost of a recon regaining the ability to cyno. HICs are also already a priority target, especially for caps, and it’s not much more EHP from a recon. A large fleet can quickly get either off the field.

I like both ideas.
