How vague. Do you consider it acceptable that a dedicated hard-tackle able to hold down a capital ship, can ALSO be the heavily tanked vessel to call in a massive capital and subcapital flow of reinforcements?

The only groups that will benefit from this are the largest groups, already able to drop however many capitals they want or need on anything that moves. Before, they would have to use burner-cyno ships for it, or to use things like Recons that’s considerably less durable and rather costly for their class.

This will only help solidify the largest powers to remain as they are by making cyno-drops even easier.

“Burner-cyno ships” You mean just recons? Which are only half a HIC in tank and roughly the same cost. HICs having cynos before was not an issue back when every ship could fit one.

I like this idea. I would have rather they added cynos to combat recons if they wanted a tankier option. And removed standard cynos from force recons. T3c are just fine, covert cynos should be covert… they are one of the few ways to actually hit groups that are protected under cap umbrellas

I have and Insta prohibits me from seeing the content because I need an INSTA Account, smarty. Besides, CCP complained that people would use Sisi to gain unfair advantages over other people so they closed it down. Now they only release important information on a platform that locks people out from seeing it without an account, giving people with such an account an unfair knowledge advantage. Dumbos like you are why enshittification of the internet progresses ever faster.
Posting this stuff on YT would have been a much better choice because YT does not prevent you from seeing the content. YT also offers chats, image posts with chats and streams for ALL people, not just Meta jerks. Prior announcing the dev chats and releasing the information on YT would have been in line with what CCP proclaims all the time about openness and fairness. Releasing it on Insta goes completely against these claims.

Adding to this: With all structures removed from gates, we could actually also finally get the player owned gate guns in null sec, which were hinted and sorta-announced when structures were first talked about and later again when CCP started pipedreaming about the propaganda structures.

Destructible or at least incapacite-able guns could add a small deterrence factor to camps and help attacked people get back to the gate or get away from attackers.

Errr, what wasn’t simple to understand about Ship Warp Speed?
“Info Window → Attributes → Warp Speed” made it pretty clear.
Also visible in Fitting Window → Navigation

Also makes me wonder how much simpler it should get? Except for Angel ships, every hull class has the same warpspeed already. Are they going to dumb this down to Frigates (every sub class now has the same 9 AU WS of T2 ceptors), every Cruiser size class (haulers included) now has the same 5 AU Warp speed and so on? Really makes me wonder who they listened to when they came up with this “simplification”.

Have the actual “simplified” warp speed changes actually been posted or is this all idle speculation?

All idle speculation for the new changes. The old simplification happened many years ago.

Because I have a smart phone, I have to make accounts to every social media platform out there? When did I agree to that obligation? I don’t like social media sites. I’ve never even had an Instagram or Tik Tok account and I don’t want one. We’re not obligated to spend all of our time with our face buried in our phone.

The spoolup time with filaments makes sense, but how does that work with the cooldown post using an initial filament ?

Also, what if filaments had a % chance to leave a “trail” after use, then a would be hunter could have a chance to follow its prey.

I can expect that a business company understands that they should offer news/content on their own website first and then add links to media platforms there. So I have the option to use it, but I am not depending on it to get the basic informations I need to stay informed.

I think you can forget this hope. CCP has announced a lot in the past, even on a big stage during Fanfest. Afterwards it was never mentioned again; not even said that it would no longer be pursued. A few examples:

  • In the course of the introduction of Citadels, POS towers were to be removed at intervals and replaced by small Upwell structures. This is why the Astrahus, for example, is a medium-sized structure according to the announcement at the time.
  • Logistics ships should come on killmails.
  • The bounty system for other players was “temporarily” switched off
  • Corporations and alliances should be able to tax their members directly when selling on the market.
  • There should be cosmetic attachments for ships

You mean the capsuleer log off timer? That won’t be changed, I suppose.

And to your second question: it would allow players to bypass the hard fleet size limits of filaments if people can ‘chase’, which makes bigger filament roaming groups possible. I don’t think that’s a good idea. Filaments have up to 15 and 25 man limits for a reason, so their use is limited to small fleets rather than large ones.
