I agree, I would rather had seen a beefed up pass of command ships to use to lead a fleet from than a dedicated FC wetdream…the stats on that ship are idiotic.

I would enjoy seeing this too. You have fanfest, and up to 2-3 other events CCP attends and that is representative of about all of what lol 20-30% of players if that? What CCP meant to say is, “When we’ve discussed this issues with members of the community who would actually use this ship at events like Fanfest and through the CSM the idea of a specialized ship designed to survive at all costs has received widespread support.”
This thread is chalked full of non-supportive comments about this ship, but I see that just like in the past they once again say to hell with the player base and add something stupid to the game that a handful of popular players want so they feel like they actually are relevant in fleets. FCing should not be a dedicated role in the fleet, FCs should be in the mix doing logi, damage, or support roles previously at least Command ships could serve that purpose but not now, why doesn’t CCP just hand them all a cockroach instead I dont care how you play EvE, no ship should EVER be this tanky in the game even without offensive capabilities.
Instead of the laser pointer to get on kills, how about an aura that allows it to get on any kill that is killed by someone under them in fleet in-grid?
I dont understand the need for this. If command ships cant command from within the fleet they need help. Why not let command ships use the new damage controls. If that doesn’t work them maybe look again at command ships and assault damage controls as a concept all together.

Honestly as an FC in essentially a spectator ship, they shouldn’t be allowed to be on kill mails period. Either you fly a combat ship and FC while doing damage, support, or logi OR you fly an observation ship with no offense and stay off kill mails, you cant have your cake and eat it too. lmao this ship is such a broken concept it’s not even funny anymore.
Let’s be real, this ship is a streamer ship that can’t cloak.
Yup pretty much, and in that case streamers can get over it and just use a cloaked ship, eve’s camera system has advanced enough that you can sit a good deal away from anything dangerous and still get live action streaming >.>
Or, ya know. show up in a cloaky…
BPC’s do not appear to be available in Concord LP store, at least not in Vellaine V - Moon 2 - CONCORD Bureau .

Well for starters it’s got an ammo bay which can hold the probes for the scan probe launcher. You stopped one line early.
You’re right. A crutch for probes exists, but there is nothing compensating for its useless scan strength.
I think you are confusing sensor strength with probe strength here.
It’s going to be as capable of probing as any non specialised ship, which is to say with max skills & sisters probes + implants pretty damn capable.
Yes, any non-specialized ship is useless in scanning anything except high-sec wormholes / combat sites. But it can put two Gravity capacitor upgrade I rigs to enhance capability up to good ones.
Base strength of perfect skilled Sister’s combat probes @ Sister’s EPL = 37.8 and it’s not enough to scan medium size drone.
Until you realize that this was given to them specifically for combat probing in areas where you can stack your probes because you already know the grid they are on. This is not meant for probing out sites nor the lone pod that got away. Be glad it even can use probes, CCP had originally said they weren’t going to do it just like the TP. Now it’s just the perfect drone bunny and anchor ship.
Hmm… not sure why this doesn’t have a display launcher with 5000% increase to ammo capacity.
After reviewing the comments… Looks like this ship was named incorrectly… It should be named “Snow Flake” to be in line with Smart bombs…
