You are right though there has been alot of chatter these would have about 1/4 EHP of the current ships now.

Interesting prediction about alphas getting T1 barges.
However, to take it a speculative step further. If the Orca mining capability is wound back and instead, it boosts mining vessels more + alphas have T1 barges, I’ll take a crazy step further and predict that an Omega and an Alpha character will be allowed to be logged in together.

I appreciate when people make content, but listening to someone talk about EVE mining on video is like the most depressing thing ever. It’s like half a step above listening to grandpa describe the weekday meal menu at the retirement home.

Zero, thankfully. You can turn off “Ship Ambience” in the Audio settings and you won’t lose anything significant.
As for mining changes, I could hope for a few things I know I more than likely won’t get. Since I’ve only been playing eight months or so, though, I’m happy enough with moon ore compression.
Anything else I’d want–like the ability to put mining modules on an Orca–very likely won’t happen. I get why, and I’m okay with it, but I can dream.

If Alpha’s are able to use T1 barges that would be a good thing in my opinion.

I think many Alpha players would find that an improvement to their game, though I am not and have never really been in favour of Alpha accounts.

I am quite OK with humour, but it depends on how it is used and how it is reacted to. If I make a joke it is condescending and uncalled for, you make a joke and it is just a funny joke.
The one I made was suggesting that those banned for CONCORD pulling were standing around looking at their belly buttons while waiting for this to be sorted, then added the question whether they had managed to get all the fluff out of their belly buttons. Instantly a ganker aligned player jumped in and accused me of being condescending and nasty.
So how does this work, are ganker aligned players the only ones allowed to make jokes and can do very personal ones? Ones that in most cases will get a reaction as they could be seen as personally nasty. I am too old to be bothered by that joke you made, in fact I laughed, but I replied to you in the context of the forums and how they are supposed to be and what happened to me with the belly button joke.

I think perhaps making barges and exhumers have a higher yield, and add compression to Orcas, but that add a very small ore processing bay that the drones put the ore in would be my preferred option.
I would also add in fast moving asteroids that only mining ships with prop mods could keep up with that have to be scanned down too. Make them juicy with moon ores in them…
