Those NPC miners are easy to get rid of, just ask someone to shoot at one of them, they all instantly warp off. If the person who shoots them for you can’t handle the reinforcements they can just warp off too. Poof, you have your astroid field all to your self.
You could also gank the ships they use to jetcan or whatever it is they are doing and just let the NPC’s do all the hard work (I mean the staring blankly into oblivion hour after hour) for you.

I’ve been looking for a week for this…last year I saw a video online (i believe from an early eve echoes beta time period) where it shows a venture shooting a rock…it then has to lock up and suck up fragments of the rock individually. It then “levels up” and transforms into a barge like some horrible mobile game.
Has anyone seen this and have a link?
