It NOT useful as it can be and IS abused by so many here it’s a pain in the ass…
Perhaps from the public facing side, but for those who work in the background it is very useful.

Yeah i can see it’s conviniend for YOU being pushed onto toxic posts with your nose down…but that’s not the point…
It is used(abused) to mute and silence unconviniend opinions and THAT is not even close to be ‘right’…

Do not quote/copy removed/hidden posts. They were removed for a reason.
That was the point…they were NOT removed until i forced you onto them nose down… 
Those posts were flagged, and hidden by the very system you claim is terrible.
Hidden posts can still be viewed if you look for them. But you have to look for them.

This was just payback for removing 51 post and being obviously proud of it…
You forget half of the toxic posts and i just told you that 
‘Useful’ and ‘capable of being abused’ are not mutually exclusive states of being.
Some users abusing a feature does not equal all users abusing the feature, or that feature providing zero positive impact when used correctly.
And it does get used correctly at least some of the time - such as to have posts moved to the correct forums, and identify un-arguably rule-breaking content (racist insults, real-life threats, etc).
The fact that you have experience with a bad actor does not mean the tool needs to be removed.

Posts that are not deleted, instead Flagged and hidden, have the option to be kicked back to the poster so that they can modify it to fit within the rules. In this case, that is what happened.

How very entitled of you. Take a step back, look at the forum from the outside instead of the inside, and ask yourself this.
Is the forum here for the customers benefit? Or the moderators? This is at least the second time I’ve seen an ISD justify this crap forum existing because it is easier for them.
You know who it’s not easier for? The people that pay for the privilege of using it.
I have no idea what your on about. Do you want a sterile forum?
In a nutshell.
I want a forum built around the needs of the customer. Not the needs of the mods. Like the previous forum.
So what do you propose instead? And don’t say the old forums, because there’s pretty much no way of going back to those.

I am replying to you. But how do you know? I can’t quote you without jumping through hoops. There is nothing to indicate that it’s you I am replying to and not the OP. Especially if I were to post in the near unintelligible English that many here tend towards.
