Ignore them, don’t give them a response. Just as you’d do with human bullies that you can’t beat physically. Don’t give them anything beyond the killmail. Just move on. They’re not going to waste time on following you unless you indicate it would be amusing. Take the quiet revenge of not folding.
And if their mockery crosses lines set out in the rules then yes, by all means report them. Nothing funnier than a troll getting suspended, right?

The endless victim… I have no doubt. It coulldnt possibly be that his own actions and words are the problem.
The channel he continues to make an example of doesnt even come close to any line. Ive seen a lot of playful banter…you know, the banter that you would expect. If you get ganked by safety then youre going to have to commit to a little roleplay because thats part of the fun. I like at times to get involved with it…i give flowers to all the victims that are good sports about it when i can. I give flowers to the gankers as well.
Dont believe all the lies that kage is spreading around here. We all know thats hes the problem…look at his post history and tell me who the vile one really is.
I mean really, to get banned from a ganking channel? Think about that for just one second.

It’s amazing how much vile behaviour can be swept under the carpet as “playful banter” when in truth it’s targeted griefing and bullying .

Not only do I get seriously funny mails from some gankers when it happens, I get mails like this too. Its an entire ecosystem. Dont make me search more mails… i have them.
I have a recent email from a gankee posted to the CEO of every corp in the Safety alliance, telling us we’re all going to hell and are working ‘against the Lord Jesus’. You really have to wonder if such people make similar assertions if they lose a game of Monopoly or if someone takes their pawn in a game of chess.

EVE is a great game and we all have a role to play. Its not personal. There was once a time that I would have Indi CEOs on my comms to discuss the terms and conditions of their operations not getting the fkn hammer… This role is greatly underappreciated in the community. Its not an easy job and most people will never thank you for bringing such fantastic content to this game.
This dynamic is precisely what creates the hardcore, gritty atmosphere we look for in sci-fi games—with real human leverage, high-stakes corporate pressure, and tangible consequences.

Not whining about lack of content as that’s silly there is plenty of fun and enjoyable content, suicide gankers don’t provide content they provide Griefing , Vile chat channels and websites, it’s causing player to leave, stop doing that .
The thing I find bad is that one can present the actual data, as I did above, and it is just ignored. That means the entire premise of the thread he posted is dishonest and there is no real intention to discuss the matter. When actual facts are irrelevant…what even is the ‘topic’ that one is supposedly going off topic on ?

Present the full data instead of cherry picking the bits that make your view point look good and it will be discussed
The chats and websites do exist, they are greifing this causes people to leave the game therefor they are bad.
Would there be a link between suicide Ganking and players leaving if said chats and websites didn’t exist and only the act of suicide ganking occurred ? Now that’s a good topic of discussion

There may be a link but unless I see data suggesting otherwise I would expect this niche of niche activities which hardly affects new players directly to be a very small one, and I think it is not nearly as relevant as many other factors that make new players decide to drop the game, like boredom.
A more interesting question could be to wonder which has a bigger effect on new players leaving:
- suicide ganks (directly)
- complaints about suicide ganks which give new players a false impression they’re helpless against those ganks
As an experiment we could stop talking about suicide ganks for half a year to see if this improves the player retention numbers!
