And on that subject…perhaps Kage needs reminding of this message from Aura that appears in the NPE. The bit where the player is told that their death in the NPE ’ will not be your last’.
So, the official opening to the game does not introduce a Teletubbie style ’ aww..diddums…did the poor player lose a ship ?’ mentality. It tells you that you will lose more ! It tells you that it is NOT Farmville In Space…

Tutorials saying you will occasionally loose ships but nowhere does it say you will then be mocked in a channel and on a website by essentially cyber bullies looking for a response. The attention deficit of these types is causing people to leave on the basis that no one wants to put up with you.

I should mention that Gerard here has wasted much of my time with endless loops between him being confused and asking for explanations for explanations. It helps to clearly define topic and context, and to not talk through multiple characters.
But this is not on topic here. I may not agree with the idea posted by kage1982 in this thread but his topic has been very clear.
Remember the function of the forum is not to agree or disagree but instead to discuss and present viewpoints . Compliment accepted though I do try to ensure the topic is as clear as possible.
What doesn’t help is others resorting to AI image trolling and trolling langue used in the channels and websites mentioned previously in a vain attempt to get a reaction. Staying on topic and at as civil as possible can certainly reduce the work @ISD have to do in order to bring order to the forum.

Not everything is like Ganking something people can discuss something on topic without emotion, that’s certainly the case for me at least.
Do crave emotional response? Is that why you are poorly attempting to troll ?
I’m seeing a lot of parallels in this respect between in game and forum activity of those who partake in suicide Ganking.
The similarities are quite striking, the sheer want and need for an emotional response, the craving to force someone away from the game/forum. Psychologists could make a fortune studying folk like you and your chums/alts in this respect.
