You are obsessing over basically irrelevant afk mining. If it takes 10 hours of afk to mine what an active unboosted barge mines in 1 hour… who cares? AFK orcas are not significantly impacting production at that point since the fields are a limited resource.
This rebalance is due to afk orcas in HS FYI. i can understand dat you’re out of game mostly of time and have spodbrain with your skiff but no problem frenderino.

If they are having a good yield, then they are active.
You yet have to prove there is 50 AFK orcas per system. So your whole argument is BS.

My whole point is, the orca isn’t a competitive miner when talking about m3/sec.
When comparing raw m3/sec for orca/skiff or retriever, they’re all about the same. But, introducing bosts into the equation puts the orca at about 1/2 the m3/sec the retriever and skiff can do.
For context, I can mine out 2 orca loads in the same time it takes a drone orca to mine out 100k m3, with an orca with drones, and a boosted retriever. But, the person in the drone orca just sits on a rock for an hour while taking a nap, while me and my orca and alts have to move around and be active.
That’s the real difference. Not really the m3/sec. I’m not saying the drone orca isn’t viable for pulling isk out of the sky, it’s just no where near as effective as introducing some skiff/retriever alts into the equation. Introducing alts makes the activity less afk-able with each alt introduce, tho. But, the isk/hour goes up with the added effort and attention investment.
And that will still not prove anything, besides that you have no arguments and can’t discuss without making personal attacks.

As i said earlier, i have no time for kiddos who just started game, have no knowledge about state of game. Come back to me in couple of years so we can discuse maybe about spodbrains coz for moment you’re in their camp.

I mine in a system of 20-50 people, depending on the day/hour.
It’s not common to see more than 5 afk drone orca miners, even when the abc/spod ores are out in great quantity. There are a few systems where I have seen around 10 of them, but those are extremely active areas with 50-100 people on average throughout the day.
I couldn’t imagine where you’d find 50 afk orcas drone mining.
So, you’re likely right. It’s bs that you’d find 50 afk drone mining orcas in any system.

Peak of this week was 40k players (EVE-Offline :: EVE-Online Status monitor rounded up from 38k)

Ok sure. But the AFK orca is nothing to do with moon mining and is a separate discussion (& one I’ve already given thoughts on possible solutions which don’t wreck active Orca’s on)
