1 Orca is worth about half a skiff if you are talking in a fleet situation, and 1 AFK orca is worth about 10% of a skiff.

one AFK orca is worth 0% of an active skiff, actually. You mine 5 rocks and then you are done for 10 hours. Thatās 0.5 rock per hour.
A max skilled orca with mining drone rigs and augmented drones only pulls in around 1600m3 per 60 seconds. Itās not even on par with a ā ā ā ā fit retriever.
The primary benefit is the ability to afk with decent enough tank to avoid most ganks, with a cargo of around 250k m3 before needing to dock. The isk an hour is lower than even a single retriever, but it allows for actually afk mining.
A boosted skiff pulls in around 2800k m3 per 60 seconds, nearly double an afk orca. For comparison. The best combo is an orca with mining drone 2ās, and a skiff (ideally), or a retriever alt shoveling ore into the hold. The duo setup can pull in 50+ mil an hour with easy. Upwards of 80 mil an hour depending on the moon ore. You can compound this by adding more alts in skiffs/retrievers. A boosted retriever pulls in around 2300k m3 per 60 sec.

You set 1 drone per rock, yes it takes ages but you pick 50k rocks and you get your 250k at no player investment time.
The Procuerer however getsā¦ well a lot less.
However active mining that procurer laughs, steals the orcaās rocks first then mines the entire field while the Orca is afk at work. Bumps them off grid and loots their mining drones as well.

i added under a skiff with T2 strip and T2 crystal but seems your spodbrain make you blind. Skiff cannot afford put those rigs coz he gonna get ganked to lack of EHP. Orca can coz even without tank rigs he have 250+ k ehp.
But yes, perfect skiff with all 5 , implant and mining drones reach 25.7m3/s and only at this moment he beat orca

An unboosted skiff or orca mines about the same as a max skilled and drone fitted orca. But, againā¦ Investing a billion for an orca and the fit, versus a 20 mil retriever fit for the same effect in m3/sec. The true benefit to solo mining in an orca is the afk-ability, not itās m3/sec.

We were initially talking about an unboosted barge, so thatās fair to compare. But weāve shown even then that the barge actually beats the orca. And we arenāt even taking the loss from travel time for drones that Orcaās have that barges are less impacted by.
Seems u still not into a real problem. Topic is about afk mining. ppl Just send one drone of orca on each rock and afk for 8h. You orca boost on barges = u need be there = EFFORT = what average eve player dont like. Seems you really have a spodbrain ^^
