Increase the mining crystal rate to 1800 cubic metres per 180 seconds, declare 1/3 of that to be ‘waste’, and then you are left with 1200 cubic metres per 180 seconds.

If you increase the yield from 1200m3 to 1800m3…but then make 1/3 of that ‘waste’…you’ve basically turned 5 loaves and 2 fishes into…5 loaves and 2 fishes.

But they did state that basic mining wouldnt change and it hasnt. If you use specific gear you get more yield.

B is 26.8 m³/s + 64% waste
With new orca boosts it’s +80% (instead of +65%) so boosted
A is 38.5 m³/s +37.6% waste
B is 48.2 m³/s +64% waste
Also 5 drones are
+8/5 m³/s +34% waste
So CCP realized the barges where ■■■■ before and finally gave them correct stats. Still some issues of aligning but at least they can fit a prop mod and/or tank.
In all cases the waste (+64%) is over compensated by the increase in ore (+100%) so you mine more, and faster.
People who claim otherwise are just plain idiots.
Maybe the orca went below the unboosted procurer. Which is fine. I’m glad CCP reverted the idiot patch of nerfing the orca yield, because it would only make gameplay even worse.
I however am sad they did not nerf the volume in the roids, along with halving the lasers duration. IMO long-as laser duration is what makes the gameplay bad (along with the previous impossibility to fit a propmod on the barges)
