Asking those of you that use the Trackpad or something else instead of the Magic Mouse

Same mouse I use in Linux, the Logitech MX Master 3. Bluetooth/dongle, horizontal scroll wheel, three extra buttons, and a button to switch the scroll wheel between having steps and being smooth.
Just don’t get the Mac version. The standard version is already perfectly Mac compatible, the only difference in the Mac version is a slightly different colour scheme and that they don’t include the dongle.

As an alternative suggestion, I play EVE on Mac with a Logitech MX Ergo S trackball. Wireless (dongle or BT), good battery life, low latency, and tilt positioning for wrist relief.
I’ve also played EVE with a Kensington Expert. Works great (very fast and nimble) but that model tends to start having mechanical issues after about two years of heavy use (I went through two of them before I switched to a thumb ball).

My buddy uses one of those but the trackball has never been a fit for me - appreciate the input
I’m back after a 10 year hiatus from EvE and really did not appreciate how much mouse use there really is… 
Magic Mouse is just not gonna cut it
