The Concord balance thread is hilarious, he managed to demonstrate complete ignorance of how Crimewatch works, and the difference between facpo and Concord. I hadn’t seen the WCS one before, 'twas amusing.
All we need for a complete circus is for Nightmare X and the moron who thinks ganking is against the EULA to pipe up with their nonsense.
I have no concern for your personal attacks… I stream so that everyone can see just how much I make on the daily. I get the question all the time in lowsec. If you think a 10-20mil ship and 100mil capsule loss are AMAZING, then I’m sorry you have not learned what real isk making is like. I keep my fits cheap for the specific reason that I charge into 30+ blinky fleets of any size and composition rather than running away from them.
The OP is about what I can and cannot get away with as far as outside setups and third-party software goes. Since CCP clearly doesn’t care and has these secret exceptions to the rules. I have nothing against gankers. I’m not AG. I’m SWOOP SALVAGE. If I need to setup ganking fleets to increase my profit margins than so be it. I don’t care if it damages eve’s economy and ruins the game. If they are ok with it, then I will do it.
The only apprehension I have is that at any time they could decide to put out a ban wave to those who admit to using window switching etc because it does violate TOS 21.
I don’t take my streams down… I highlight them so that they are saved indefinitely and delete the full video after. As you can see, the video of the wreathe kill you posted is still on my twitch channel. Its not really an uncommon loss for me… I mean really, stop with the “oh you lost a few mill… what a loser”. It makes you sound like a little kid.
Eve-Previewer is perfectly fine to use. Go do some research on what it is and what makes it different than input broadcasting with ISBoxer, which isn’t allowed.
So where is this official list of third-party software that CCP has verified and endorses for use because specifically encouraging others to use software that violates the TOS is also against the TOS.
CCP isn’t going to openly endorse a piece of software because how the software works and its contents are subject to change as the creator says fit.
Example: If CCP says that Eve-O Previewer is okay to use, the creator of the software could add input broadcasting and try to rules lawyer around bans because CCP said it was alright.
It has been very clear for a long time that CCP refuses to be clear with their rules and EULA. If you petition to ask if something is ok to do, a lot of the time you will get a response like, “if you have to ask if it’s allowed, then you probably shouldn’t do it.”. It’s ■■■■■■■■ and most everyone agrees.
This thread is a joke. What you should have done instead of creating what appears to be a rage-post after last nights massacre is to do all this research yourself. There’s a ton of resources and topics out there regarding which parts of ISBoxer are allowed and to what extent you can multibox.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Edit: by your logic we’re not allowed to use Teamspeak, Mumble, Discord, mIRC, Slack, Evemon, Eve ISK Per Hour, Microsoft Excel, And/or EFT or Pyfa.
Time to get all your buddies in Eve Voice! Hope you enjoy the input delay.
So I should have no problem running multiple mini-machines that use a splitter to connect to one input keyboard and mouse than right. Nothing in the TOS seems to say that you cannot control multiple clients with one keyboard and mouse setup. This would allow as many alpha clone accounts as needed all running on separate machines to acquire the desired DPS level I need to wreck anything I wish while essentially only having to control one screen.
Its essentially the same as using window switching software but I wouldn’t have to pay for the alpha accounts, only the initial costs of the hardware. Even though this would not violate the TOS, I’m sure I would quickly be banned for using multiple alpha clone accounts to gank freighters.
