VPNâs exist. Virtual Machines exist. Players have been multiboxing Alphas for years. And thereâs not a damn thing CCP can do about it. Thatâs why they removed the ability for Alphas to set their safety to red in high sec. They couldnât do anything about the multiboxed Alpha ganking fleets, so they had to do the next best thingâŚ

I mean, sure, from that perspective it is quite useless.
What do you propose then ?
Suck it up, note who the awoxers are, and shoot them back. Multiboxing isnât going away. Ever. Neither are Alphas or the ability to multibox them. The only change they could make that would put a dent in it is to not allow Alphas into Faction Warfare. And I donât imagine that would go over very wellâŚ

There are ways to design the game around mboxing mind you.
I made one proposal above, about plexes and how they could be redesigned to facilitate engagement of said awoxers and multiboxers, but which you didnât bother to read or catch on it seems.
Remove Alphas from Faction Warfare
No, there isnât. This game was made for multiboxing. Itâs been a thing since day one. There isnât a single activity in the entire game that canât be multiboxed.

Guys, come down pls. Itâs not about mboxing. Itâs about AWOXING = killing fellow soldiers. Maybe the problem canât be rosolved completely, but at least there were sudjestions provided. Hope that CCP will help us this time.

Is an idea, but we both know that will never happen.
There are ways to design game mechanics inside plexes so as to make mboxed fleets easier targets to hinder, counter and kill.
Current âsit and waitâ plexing mechanic is part of the problem imo. It is way too simple and basic and spammable by farmers.

You shouldnât be able to earn a decent (solo) income as an Alpha. This is the case for mining, missions, abyssals, PI, manufacturing, etc. Why weâre making an exception for FW with respect to Alphas is beyond me.

On that we agree. You can indeed hinder them, but thereâs no way to put a total stop to it.

Maybe lower the LP payout for Alphas drastically, like make it almost worthless.
Hence, having more than one such objective and various types of objectives in seperate rooms inside a plex to complete it, is much needed imo, anything to keep the mboxerâs fleet divided and more occupied and providing tempo for hunters.

The way theyâve currently nerfed Alphas is by restricting access to the paywall through skill, ship and agent restrictions. Iâm not sure if they could (easily) curb LP or otherwise restrict FW just for Alphas.
I really think the simplest solution is to ban Alphas from FW participation. That takes out the last remaining solo income ability.

It would certainly fix it, but it would also leave out the newbies from FW.
Not sure if thatâs something they would politically allow themselves to do.
They could restrict plex access down to Novices only for Alphas, maybe.
I felt a great disturbance in the force, as if thousands of Alpha FW plex farmers suddenly cried out in terror, then were silencedâŚ

I still think it would be better to keep them, but lined up as pvp content by redesign.
How about that one :
Awoxing ships are hit with a timer (say half an hour) and canât dock any structure and get hunted out by Navy npcâs (and players) ?
The character(s) also gets a militia âkillrightâ with a timer, say a couple of weeks, where he is fully engageable by other militiamen.
(He effectively declared war on his own militia âŚ)

And eliminates multiboxing FW Alphas. Truthfully, as much as we may abhor multiboxing Omegas - at least theyâre paying.
Who knows. Maybe most of the AWOXâing goes away.

plus this can open up a whole new avenue to go down to, this is what makes Eve great.
