Minecraft is a sandbox game, i cannot play eve in minecraft. Eve is a sandbox game, i cannot play minecraft in eve. So by definition ‘sandbox’ is flawed. ‘You can do anything’ means nothing if the game has limitations anyway. You can do anything that the game lets you do or is programmed.
And i dont really see the point of arguing over sandbox or not sandbox.
Except its not what i said. You say things and claim i did while i did not. And then claim you win the arguments. I’m not here to convince you, you are far gone already.
You cannot do anything in eve. You can do whatever CCP programmed the game to be.
Is it my responsibility to not get blown up? The question is so vague that i cannot answer directly. If i do something that gets me killed then it was expected. If i go though a gate and die to a camp, no. Still dont see the point of the question.
Clearly EDENCOM’s fault for being a bunch of lazy dumbasses.
That one is on the playerbase. If even one freighter gets through without a scout, then it sets a precedent that teaches bad lessons to players like this. GET OFF YOUR ASS AND FIX THIS PRECEDENT TEACHING NEW PLAYERS THAT DOING STUPID STUFF DOESN’T GET PUNISHED YOU LAZY PLAYERBASE!
That one is on his corp. They failed to teach him to have combat drones on aggressive while afk activities such as mining or clearing NS havens in a 100mn ishtar
Generally a tie between the ISP and Eve’s crappy netcode that turns off the active tank modules when you d/c.
What the hell kind of question or false scenario is this? It’s like jumping a gate into a gate camp, and getting away only because the stiletto was taking a bathroom break… That’s more happenstance where you got lucky than an “invitation” or some other notable, prior discussed option that you make it out to be.
This is the type of bot-antics that warp to a citadel to dock when a neutral enters system
Unless he right clicks his ship and starts the self destruct timer, it’s clearly not his fault.
It’s on YOU, the playerbase, to go kill his ship, and provide the meaningful social interaction, from the motivation to be better through to the examples that they need to follow, that is needed to make him a better player.
so Altesse, it took you 3 hours to reply…and with an alt at that…
And you come screaming like a child…
Nothing in your reply says anything there is my responsibility, in fact it proves the opposite…good luck in life carebear, cause your not going to have any in this game.
Catalysts are combat ship a group should be able to kill a freighter.
And a group of 5 ruptures attacked a Loki, what are gank ruptures 5mill a pop, a Loki 400 mill, I was in a combat ship and helped stop the gank, the Loki got away .
Things should stay the same ganking is ok as it is , people who live in high sec need to fight back that’s all , we do .
Don’t kill gankers play style , just kill them in game
Then freighters should be worth 50M a piece to represent how pathetic they are. Sure a few combat ships are able to kill one in low/null sec, that’s normal. But in high sec they still are easy prey, that is not normal.
Now imagine any kind of sci-fi fantasy you want, in what kind of world would you have huge cargo ships (and very expensive) unable to defend themselves if the universe is that dangerous. Give them more defense and guns and the ability to use high and mid slots and then we can talk.
But of course in any kind of somewhat realistic fantasy the autorities would not tolerate pirates in their territory, such as high sec. So high sec suicide ganking is just not happening in a logical world.
Oh and on what ground a small ass frigate can scramble a massive capital freighter? Believability is a thing.
See the only thing i agree with on that is that freighters should have mid slots. No weapons or drones but mid slots. Unable to to fit tackle or any kind of combat based module.
Having read through the last 100 odd posts, it’s clear EVE isn’t the game for you; and that’s ok.
People that are weak and lack any sense of personal responsibility are likely to find EVE difficult.
That’s exactly the type of player that will be punished by the reality that EVE has far more depth than just PVE and Industry; and far more depth than just PVP. It puts all play styles in tension with each other, which is why it’s able to attract players who like of those styles of play. It also however, requires players to be able to accept that the other playstyles exist.
People that are weak and lack any sense of personal responsibility are likely to find EVE easy… That’s exactly the type of player that will be rewarded…
